Texas used to be a real kick ass band and a great group to see live.Unfortunately, they got involved with producers that had their own idea of what the band should sound like and what kind of songs they should play. Mother's Heaven is stil one of my favorite albums. This band had so much potential. It's a shame they got pointed in the wrong direction.
Magnificent song from "Mother's Heaven". But this live performance in a play back. If you listen carefully, you will hear Maria McKEE's backing voice.
Unfortunately this period has gone. I saw Texas two years ago at "Les Papillons de Nuit" festival in Normandy - France. All they sung was crap from their most recent albums... the band opened with "I don't want a lover" and went on with a boring gig. I left the place wit a bitter taste in my throat.
