Boulton is by far one of the sharpest people I've seen from the media in the political arena. Brown is so clearly evasive and if you can't see that, you need to reassess your political values.

My view is that it has not kept pace with societal change and medical research. The British people expect the NHS to act as a magic wand to cure all illnesses. Meanwhile we keep hear of disturbing stories of neglect and abuse. Google "Stafford General Hospital Scandal" to see how bad things have become in parts of our NHS.

Yes, there will always be people who do half arsed jobs and really should be fired, but it is in the minority. Most people do recommend the NHS, and most hospital visits are fine, its just with all these sensationalistic stories touted by the SUN and daily mail every so often that people start to dislike the NHS. With a budget of over 100 billion quid, there are bound to be some irregularaties and some poor care, its just too huge to be perfect, which is what people unrealasitcally expect.

You can always tell a biased interviwer. An interviewer is supposed to ask a question, provocative if he so wishes, and allow the interviewee to answer without interruption. Boulton constantly interrupts Brown here despite Brown listening to most of Boulton' cheap Tory hype and insults, has the courtesy not to interrupt untilhet gets really out of hand.. Although not in Paxman's league he appears to have attended a few master classes by Bill O'Reilly.

Yes he clearly is, but like I said, when Brown's given direct questions, he has a greater tendency than most to not give a clear answer. The reason for this is quite simply because, like the last election he pulled out of, he is an indecisive person. Can't blame him for being so really however- he is unelected by the people.

People love to exagerate media bias - take Nick Robinson; people point to his Tory roots but the bias is so tiny that there aren't even youtube clips demonstrating it! Same with Paxman and his labour roots!

What I don't understand is why the government can't offer everyone who is unemployed jobs or on the job training, instead of giving fat cats more money to blow creating another stock market bubble, Banks are making profit with bail out money gambling on market trading again, but unemployment is still rising !! They will be fewer consumers with money to spare to support a recovery therefore less jobs, it's a downward spiral back into recession, We need jobs to spend money to create more jobs.
