Achmelvich means the absolute world to me ! i have been going ever since i was 10 weeks old and i have a bonfire every july for my birthday and i am now 14. Stunning place and it is so much better than abroad :) Really good video.
@aliyoung9 you cant really stay on the beach with dogs because margaret doesnt allow it but there are a couple b&b's along the road on the way there. Thats the closest places i can think of that allow dogs! :)

the choice of music the poster provides still says he/she has a shocking taste in music/geographic accompaniment...indeed I do believe he/she has changed it since the last time..just noticed it there the noo

I love Achmelvish - stayed at the youth hostel several times. Even got to play my pipes by the beach, despite the MIDGES!!

Just got back from staying in the Highlands.Visited Achmelvich for the third time. Truly stunning. Better than any beach in Barbados.
