  • i am indonesian. papua people become a slave for freeport.go out from our land. freeport just stole our gold

  • Lots of news about Freeport american company on the news now.. way to treat people like shit and pay them crap.

  • Fuck u Australia

    Go home from Aborigin land

  • unlike Timor with no rich natural resource .

in papua , money play the rule. US, indonesian, australian , government and corporate has quite dirt on their hand. ( it is funny this report does not mention international corporates involvement) . supposed west papua is independent state, and papuan locals have the right to own the land in freeport. would our government let that happen? I dont think so.

greed is the source of evil.

  • MARI SAUDARA2 AMERIKA mari kita perkosa tanah papua yg kaya mineral.

emas perak tembaga uranium dll nya, pertambangan mengasilkan 7,3 JUTA ton tembaga dan 724,7 JUTA ton emas. COBA HITUNG HARGA EMAS Rp. 300.000. dikali 724,7 JUTA ton emas/ 724.700.000.000.000 Gram dikali Rp 300.000. = Rp.217.410.000.000.000.000.000 Rupiah!!!!! BANGSA INI BANGSA BODOH TERBELAKANG.BIROKRAT RAKUS KORUP JUAL SAJA BUNG MILIK BANGSA INI KELUAR NEGRI KAMI CUMA PENONTON TIDUR DIJALAN DAN NGENET PUN PAKE WARTEL

  • It doesn't surprise me that it meets environmental standards, those standards were effectively drafted by the corporations that benefit from them.

  • What can the West do, the only option is to create one Papua, but this will never happen for they will not get West support, for the ones who control the west are interested in striping them of thier resources, so no training or guns, even though the war will build papua into one nation, one people, and bring them into the modern world by their free will.

  • @2Roo7ted goood point, when the americans helped out the iraq who rebelled against sadam it was to do what, get money in some advers way. and same here they dont help this time but still get money i think we send everyone to america who is suffering and let them deal with these people directly.

  • Christians fuck up their faith Indonesians fuck up their land, how sad.. tribes don't have a Christ tribes don't have borders, they have fists for freedom and dignity, western people wake up !

    spread this video around ya.

  • Indonesia is Muslim and they treat these people very badly so what do you say to your claim that Islam forbids oppression it even oppresses it's own

  • f*ck ur queen!!!

  • This is what happens wherever Muslims take over, they have been doing it for over 1000 years wherever they have gone whether it be throughout Africa or all the way to Indonesia and Papua.

  • What nonesense. Islam forbids oppression of any kind. The government of Indonesia is not an Islamic one. Do not use this issue to push your own agenda.

  • Your unrepentant Islamic propaganda doesn't work here antichrist and it is leading you into eternal damnation. Only the True Christ can save you from the darkness you are enslaved in and help to enslave others in.

  • @Tantoin true Islam dose.

  • @LoveOfRighteousness

A religion without oppression is like a fish without gills.

The very reason that religions exist is to enable effective control of a large population.

  • @LoveOfRighteousness um can you say extremist with me E.X.T.R.E.M.I.S.T ok as we have seen all arround the world maby islam forbids oppression but the people of islam are not all agreeing with you man!

  • I'm a journalist from indonesia and i was in papua more than 10 years.lots of papuan was killed by indonesian military and police, there is no Human rights in papua,so up sad for me to see the reality what's happen in papua..big corruptions and killing .massive pollution in Timika papua because of PT.Freeport, but indonesian government just "close" their ayes, and doing nothing, only for "Dirty" money..!!! so sad

  • Comment removed

  • @mikeztoni Your a liar from Switzerland lol.

  • @dsac6007

you said I`m liar???? do you ever put your dirty ass in Papua Indonesia?? I`m a west papuan man original indigenous Papuan my Father is a Papuan and I was Born in Papuan and now I live and stay in Europe. what do you know about Papua?? you are the Liar big mouth.!!! ehh, Panta lobang anjing..!! kalo sa dapa ko ni sa injak2 ko sampe ko pu batang leher pata 2. orang2 macam ko ini yg bikin orang papua menderita..cukimai,babi anjing deng ko..!!!

  • Nice try ggeszpin. Of course you probably think the Papuans like Indonesian occupation? They voted for your occupation right? No doubt Javanese would vote for continued Dutch occupation too. (You are lucky they did not have a tranmigration policy like yours.) And democracy you would not know what that means. Such a distinguished history you have. Sukarno, even better Suharto. Sorry ggezspin, your spin does not wash. Your country and government are a disgrace.

  • It's so sad. You continually complain about the Dutch colonisation of your country. But it is nothing compared to your murderous occupation of West Papua. These people are not Asian or muslim like you - GET OUT!!!!!!

  • but its democracy in here,, they can make some party,, like in aceh, and they won the election in aceh,, just use the democracy way,, and they ve got otonomy,, damn you are so easy persuaded by their propaganda's,, it is btw i never complained about the dutch ,, or any one else in this thread never complained about the dutch invasion.. poor you

  • through greed and by force I wouldn't feel proud of that!

  • Aussies should just shut the fuck up and ponder on their Aboriginal populations k?

  • Stock response... boring. No one ever said Australia was perfect in its dealings with the indigenous population but massive positive steps have been taken in recent years. Indonesia continues to suppress and repress West Papua with no improvement in sight. Its disdain for Papuan traditions, culture and people is reprehensible. There's no reason why backyards can't be cleaned up together, but Indos keep pointing the finger at Australia to take the lead, why? Anyway this is a UK television report!

  • @auspete y not just go back to europe?

  • PAPUA MERDEKA!!

  • Free West Papua, Free Uighur, Free Tibet.

  • HAM???? Ausshit pelanggar ham no satu..Aborogin yg punya tu benua Australia pd kmn?? East Timor sekarang tinggal mkn batu karena ulah Ausshit.

  • Indonesian "reformasi" in Papua is joke. "blacks" are treated like second class citizns in own land there is no justice. my friend recently beaten to death by soldiers watching football game in Sentani, his crime was push soldier who was kicking boy lying on ground. The outcome...the military paid his family funeral. Indo policy in papua is use transmigrasi, etc as part of ongoing indonesian genocide...w/in 10 years black Papuans will be a minority in their own land! Papua merdeka!

  • this person spent is time in papua with 50 person(rebel) and doesnt know what is in other thousands minds.we love our country not trying to give our land to any one who has money like aussie doing.they dont even have ID card.I love my PAPUA and I LOVE INDONESIA

  • Thank you for sharing.

  • Will you believe the australian who did a systematic genocide to the aborigine with its stolen generation (you may google it in wikipedia to whom who doesn't know). And now they said they care about human right in melanesian? To whom who doesn't understand, please back off, let us in west papua grow as we do right now. Simply learn from East Timor.

  • Agree with you

  • that's a generalisation against Australians. Noone alive today was involved in that genocide.

  • Totally with you. My country has committed one of the worst genocides ever before 1945 and I would be highly offended if being called a shipper! As well, there are many US-Americans who DO care about their fellow Native American citizens. Officials, however, tend to have a generaliseable point of view.

  • And I hope you also understand why there is no peace in East Timor till now. And why you may never see Australian soldiers when there is a conflict between tribe. Because they create it, to secure their 99.998% of East Timor oil. Smart enough right. Trust me friend, we (west papuan) will never fall for this

  • Brother, I'm west Papuan and I'm smart enough to see what behind this propaganda. You can never fool us with your independent issue like East Timor. For all of you who might be blind, here is the oil share between Australia and East Timor: $36 Billion vs $3 Million. Which is not even half percent. With special autonomy, West Papua can now recevied 80% and develop pur own resources. Please try to open your heart, these australian are evil and smart. But West Papuan are not stupid either.

  • 2 ykarubaba

Just an innocent Q bcoz I haven't been in Indonesia 4 some time. Is the Special Autonomy system really working right now? (Is it the same system they came up with during the reform?)

What development have you seen henceforth?

  • I4ideas, I'm so happy to answer your Question. Here is the development, Economics: After 32 year, Indonesia has now become independent in food Supply, this is as a result of the reform, as it was being corrupted before. Law: Many corruptors have sentenced to jail, including senators, ministers, army generals, & police generals. These include general who backs up illegal logging. Social: Gov. currently give away money for the poor, in exchange of oil subsidies that may benefit rich people only.

  • In Papua itself, after an euphoria of special autonomy, the local gov. has now realized that the pyramid of budget allocation s/b bottom up instead of top down. Whereby, beside give it to district gov, we are also now allocating directly to the villages. We have a master plan to open access accross region, to make transportation become cheaper. And last but not least, we are working to educate villager on health issue, especially HIV, as there are traditions that allow them to switch partners.

  • why you so care to us in Papua while i still saw a lot of aborigin life in swamp eating the snake that they able to find.development is still going on you can see it if you come(U know nothing about my place)if there is some place untouch by development thats because we want it like that according to our father's old religion.this reporter made it up so they got money from tv station.

  • Indonesia has killed close to 5 million Papuans. There is a Papuan population difference of 4,9 million between Papua New Guinea (population 6,1 million) and West Papua (Papuan population 1,2 milllion). This is why West Papuans want Merdeka - Papua Merdeka. Wake up and take action to help them.

  • PROVOKAORT...I will repeort that you will never get into Indonesia ,again!

  • Aust DON'T MESS with Indonesia...DON'T support for separatsm!

  • Hey boys, that really good good job, we totally need people like you guys to broatcast the West Papua's cases in the world wide! Cheers Bod bless You guys!

  • I am an expat from NZ, I worked in the mine for 3 yrs from 97 till 2000, the PTFP stance on the tailings that is destroying everything in its path is "the solution to pollution is dillution" everything goes down the river and eventually ends up in the sea at the rivermouth, everything in the river is dead, everything along the banks is dead, evewrything is dead at the rivermouth

  • Hi phoenix,so...what did you do when you see that?? just sit your ass down there??

  • Hi Javajazz80, no I didnt just sit on my ass, If you are really interested to hear what I did, send me another comment and Ill reply

  • Freeport is raping the land, squeezing every dollar they can get out of the mine until the lease is up the Indo govt. doesnt want them to go because of the huge tax base PTFP provides.

In the video the commentator says he doesnt have any footagfe, I have hours and hours of 8mm video footage of all aspects of the mine

  • After I left a group of Indo soldiers opened fire on a 4WD of teachers that were heading down to the lowlands for the weekend, they killed 3 people on the vehicle and wounded two others, the Indo army tried to say it was the natives, the OPM, the shell casings at the scene are the type avail to the Indo troops who use the automatic weapons.

  • everything from the tailings after its recycled as much as possible to extract the gold and copper out goes down the river, nothing lives in it its path. When I was there a lot of the overburden the mine creates was being stored over the back of the minesite, the rainwater leached through it and formed a blue lake of alkylis, after an earthquake it let loose and wiped out an entire village downstream.

  • hehehe...!PanahWaaier,beta sering kali liat ngana punya Comment di mana x2!hee...

Aight then!I'll pray every single day for the Democracy & for the Human Rights there!Osei? will you pray either?hee...

  • Thank you for praying for democracy and human rights! That is a very good start! Respect people as we all are!

    Mena! Free West Melanesia!

  • well, yea i got to admitt the human rights violations were a lot back in the day,but thats YEARS & Years ago!from there the number of these kind of violation were dcreasing every Year!things changed now!so please dont screw these more than 40 Years Reconcialiation efforts!things has changed now!

  • First take care of democracy and human rights in Papua and Maluku! Then come back to talk with us!

    Free Papua! Free Maluku! Mena!

  • Do you know orang Papua? Have you ever been to papua highlands? Sorry but we receive very different information from Papuan refugees!

  • err...My grandparents from my father have Dani Bloods!& i have many friends from their!but other than that?i dont have unfortunately,i never even been there!

i got the information from my papuan friends!he said that in the cities, things are much better & the separatism spirit not as strong as what in the Villages of Papua!

but i dont know,Probably he is wrong!correct me if im wrong please!

  • In the cities the separatism thought may be smaller than in the villages. Same thing with Maluku. Main reason is that the village suffer the most from the RI oppression. I would like to complement you, you are one of the very few Indonesians who want to discuss about this subject without calling me and other Moluccans, pigs, dogs, whores, terrorists etc. Thank you

  • You don't have to,actually its me who should apologize for them!you know that their english is bad & all they know is the F*ck,Dog,Bi*ch,& other similar words,so they use it!

im still curious about the forms of oppresion in nowdays (in the past there were alot but Now?)!& i still dont get the difference between what in the cities & in the Villages!

  • (part1)First a bit about the oppression we experience. The activists who were jailed after their HARGANAS-cakalele performance have been beaten, tortured and their trial will not be fair. These ppl are beying trailed for state-treason, for only performing a dance! At one of the dancers home, the TNI found 500 RMS flags, this man has been convicted till 17 years of imprissonment!

  • (part2). After HARGANAS TNI raided the village of Aboru, homes were searched and one boy of 17years old was shot, he is now beying 'treated' in the local military hospital.. After the raides several Moluccans escaped right under the noses of TNI, one of them was caught again (Nus Malawauw) and according to the TNI commander, they 'lost' Nus at sea...We believe that he has been killed.

  • (part3). Besides HARGANAS, oppression reaches further than that. Maluku knows a very strong village-culture, we know bloodbrotherpacts between villages called 'pela'. Indonesia replaced our village leaders with indonesian governers. They usally dont know the history of the village and the pela. In this way, villages who had been allies for centuries, started to get arguing, which in turn let to the kerusuhan at Maluku.

  • (part4)Our villagegrounds are being taken and given to javanese/sumatran and chinese transmigrants. The loss of the traditional leaders together with the loss of much of the tanah negeri has really hurt Mollucan culture. By only teaching bahasa indonesia at the schools, the local bahasa Ambon and bahasa tanah are neglected.

  • But maybe the most important form of oppression has been related to economy. Korean and Japanese prawn-trailers take all of the fish of the Moluccan seas, destroying the coral and leaving almost nothing for the locals. Villages are being forced to give up their lands, because R.I want to build jati-wood plantages.

  • (part6). In the villages ppl are still very traditional and those traditions are being threatend by Indonesia. I think thats the main reason that villagers are more supportive to RMS than the citizens.

  • wuih!that was very informative!i only know some of it!

i just asked my friend (an ambonese!),i asked him about the language that been taught in school, but he answerd that Yea the Bahasa Indonesia is taught as the main language, but they still teach the local language in elementary Public Schools (Sekolah negeri!), but i dont know with the privat one!

  • hehe thnx :)

  • what a propaganda is this..........

  • Well human rights violations in Papua are fact.

In 1977 indonesia even dropped Napalm on villages after a uprising.

  • Bangsa Indonesia tidak eksis!

Marilah Bangsa Acheh, Papua dan Maluku! Katong maju sama2 sampai merdeka!

    Mena!
