@blackwhiteorange Thanks Masaya!! I worked really really hard on pop cres (thanks to Hans, who taught me TONS about good tech for it), and tried to make pop cres really high + slicing kick. In due time, Hans just told me I should start giving the 720 dubs a shot... so, I listened to him. :) I always do, since he's da man, and I ain't!!! :D
These are attempts, so they still aren't "there" yet, but my advice is... pop cres over and over. Then gyro it a LOT. Then, dub attempts!! :)
@Msby hahahha nooooo way on the tatsumaki.... :) If you want that kind of awesome, you look to DANIEL GRAHAM, mah friend!! Look up his Hurricane Kick, it's tremendously incredible + inspirational...
You know... I actually got footage of that @ L-Kicks 2009, I should post that someday--a different angle from the one everyone else has seen. :)
@Soccerpie888 Who said I stopped?!? Some of the last few projects I did from mid-2010 to end-of-2010 were saber-oriented... :) Not to mention "Erviana Jones II" was a *MASSIVE* project... did you see all three parts? Clue = LED sabers...
@DarkEchoes13 Thanks Rudy. You bastard... you and like most every tricker out there are my inspiration to just KEEP ON TRICKING. No matter how much my body hurts these days. You know what I mean. Folks like Jayel... folks like Guthrie. ;)
@butteroll yer daaaamn right, butteroll! There are all sorts of things I'm doing wrong on this... also including stalling too long after the first kick. :) Thanks for the advice though... I have to still keep working on chambering my non-kicking leg in general--with ALL jumping kicks...
@alphaignus Thanks, I appreciate that, but... it's really the cam angle that cheats perspective here...
To me, for them to be "legit", both kicks would need to be in the same "line of attack", or be ANGLED the same dir even if there wasn't much power in kick #2. If you look again at the 1st attempt, you'll see that 2nd kick is still way too early. Maybe b/c I'm kicking too early, or I simply didn't twist around in time. :D
I know, I'm hard on myself for an old guy! But it's what happened.
omg!! those were awesome!!! i fail soo hard when i attemp them lol
