Don't know why people compare the A380 with 787. It's like comparing an apple with a water melon. Much better to compare 787 against the A350. Both a/c haven't left the ground yet! 787 by the end of the year unfortunately the A350 on a hard disk!
With the shortage of petrol, within a few years, there will be no need for a380, for 747, for 787, for boeing, for airbus, and for all big airplanes in general...
Good point about fuel...But do you honestly think that companies would spend the billions researching and building an aircraft like this if the 'fuel will run out' in a couple years? Dont think so mate...Theres a lot more to the story! (Not that I know it all either!) hehe
dont see the point of making it so big. I mean the dreamliner is your average widebody but its really fuel efficient. There really isnt a need for such big airliners, its not a cruise ship.
I was at Tsim Sha Tsui, next to the Cultural Centre. I used a Panasonic DMC-FZ20. The shakiness is due to the fact that I have to hold it high to clear the crowd, making the screen difficult to see.
