Just a heads up on the hasbro and Takara reissue in regards to the foot breaking the hood. In the original Diaclone version of the toy the instructions stress you must pull the foot towards the front of the car first before rotating it.
pull the foot towards the front of the car first, it will pop out about 1-2mm then rotate.
this will prevent the foot from breaking the hood, the takara and hasbro both exhibit the issue. The Takara re-issue version of the toy is the better of the two.
One of the arms broke off my Hasbro reissue Tracks. My Takara collection Tracks is still fine, though I'm careful with it anyway. When I first heard that there would be a Corvette Stingray in Revenge of the Fallen I was hoping it would be Tracks, though that wasn't the case obviously.
Isn't it funny how Hasbro has removed the firing spring on the originals and reissues, yet nearly every new Transformer they produce seems to come with some missile launching weapon.

Mind you, it has been in it's box untouched for the last 10 months so that might have something to do with it. I am really looking forward to reviewing this guy when I get a chance. He is beautiful.
It's a shame your Tracks broke on you moshman...my reissue one just has one slightly floppy wing but he is a great toy and i always liked his jet-car mode...as it made Tracks the first (unofficial) autobot triple-changer!
Also i remember as a kdi we could get him in both red and blue, i remember that we as kdis didnt like the red oen for he was blue in the cartoons and comics but today i understand the red one is worth a fortune.
