  • at 2:02, shoosh, not now courtney, at 2:06 I'm dead serious :) funny

  • I dont know much....but what exactly does a Carrier aircraft do? I mean....the space shuttle launches into the space on the sides of a rocket right???

  • To put it simply, the Orbiter (which you see here on top of the 747) launches into space with the aid of two Solid Rocket Boosters on the sides (the two white rockets) and an external fuel take (the big orange tank) to fuel the three space shuttle main engines on the back of the Orbiter. The Orbiter basically glides back to earth and lands like a plane but if it lands anywhere other than the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, it has to be carried there on the back of a real plane.

  • Thnx Buddy.....But it does look very cute.....like a baby plane on the back of an elder plane....

  • Lol at the cut.

And you were very right, that is a very fine camera you used. Tyler

  • yeah i actually took my vid with a photography camera, not a video camera. VERY nice footage. We are planning on buying a tripod now just in case something like this should arise in the future. We didn't even know about the shuttle until we came back on base from being out all day... we saw all the news people at the front gate.

  • good view. nice!!!
