  • geweldig das pas genieten

    berend

  • What a show - I was only 5 but man, if I was only 10 years older - beauty and music and friendship - Those days need to be repeated....

  • well, excuse mi, but since when it was four days? even the slogan says 'THREE days of peace and music'... then again, Hendrix performed twice (some songs are not here and some weren't played at all) and don't you think that day two is a little bit too long? Jefferson Airplane was performing in the morning, not in the evening (listen to Grace Slick at the beginning of Somebody To Love)... not cool, man, not cool :/

  • @ninchan2 hendrix never performed twice, his performance was moved to monday morning at 8 am, due to everything running behind schedule because of the rain.

  • @PeterCRissKISSgod well, I saw a documentary when they said he did, because of the money issues: normally in '69 he would take 50,000$ per gig and guys from Woodstock wanted to pay him only 20,000$ - that's why he performed twice... and yes, I know about the rain - I tend to listen to what performers say between the songs ^^

  • 8 dollars. Can U f#####g believe it!!!

  • my parents would not let me go I was only 15! argh!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I疯狂洋鬼子

  • This is WAY cool. From someone who ALMOST was there, but it started raining & I didn't want to get out in the throngs with a 2-1/2 month old son in tow. Would have been awesome, but untenable in the mud, lack of facilities, etc. with a baby. My son, who turned 40 in June, thanks me for not endangering his life in my exuberance to experience Woodstock. I laugh & tell him that I won't hold it against him! He's worth it!

  • great vid...........siigh

  • youre missing 20 percent of the songs-- ie Feelin Alright -Joe Cocker

  • woodstock 94's line up was way better!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't wait to see an actual accurate set list from the festival. Every list I see changes the songs and their order! No offense to you Orlando 1753 if that's the list you created yourself. There is a Woodstock audio box set coming out this August that will have the entire festival documented as well as a hardcover book out late this month or in July. The book will document each and every act that played. Now we'll get to finally hear about Quill and Keef Hartley!

  • AGUANTE WOODSTCK 1969,se cumple 40 años este año en agosto.saludos claudio

  • There's a Woodstock 40th tribute concert happening Aug 14th 15th just outside of Chicago, with tributes to Santana,Jimi and others.....OH...and us The Wholigans(THE WHO).

I think they are expecting 20,000 or so.

Obviously it's a mere shadow of the original, but worth checking out if you live nearby.

Just go thewholigans(dot)com or click on my name and follow the links.

    or .tribute2woodstock(dot)com

  • @Orlando1753 highlighted in blue, clever!

  • Thanks for sharing a piece of rock history.

  • I'm glad you remembered Woodstock. It has a special place in my heart and these bands stood for something important - peace and great rock n roll. WE ARE STARDUST, WE ARE GOLDEN, WE HAVE GOT TO GET OURSELVES BACK TO THE GARDEN.

    peace

  • This was great music...and wonderful info about the order of the bands and the music. Woo Hoo! Thanks for posting this THREE DAYS OF PEACE AND MUSIC tribute. There has never been another concert like this one. On my channel if anyone is interested in joining the party, people are sharing vids with me of their favorite performance, I'm saving to a playlist. This one is on it now. Plus a playlist of the 1970 documentary. Let's all spread the spirit of peace and love.

    peace
