It just blows me away that people used to get offended by Madonna. She is nothing compared to the trashy artists we have today. But Madonna is a good singer too, there's a LOT of good performances of her on Youtube (just watch the Oscar performance of Sooner or Later). And Madonna is a better songwriter and overall artist. She's underrated as hell, it's such a shame. She's far from being the talentless hack that people pretend she is.

@BrandonSeattle No it wouldnt because the style of music in this generation is different than the style back then, people dont like to listen to things they are not ready for and things they have somewhat heard before, if Led Zepplin came out with "Dancin' Days" in 1946 it wouldnt even be listened to and if Marilyn Monroe came out with "Diamonds are a Girls best friend" in 2009 she would get laughed at. I just love this song so much, it has such a sweet innocence to it. That is what i love so much about a lot of the music of the 80's, whenever you hear a great song from that era it transports you right back. It makes me feel like I am 12 years old again and full of hope. Thanks Madonna!
