I liked Tarja better when she was in Nightwish, her solo sounds very generic in my opinion. If she did something more along lines of Ciaran's Well and Damned and Divine, i'd be a little more interested. But it's clear Nightwish doesn't need Tarja anymore.

Unfortunately Anette didn't make the genre you call pop metal. before DPP was released tarja had already created that "genre" by saying that her music will be a mix of "CLASSICAL, pop and METAL". (even if you think Nightwish found it before tarja it means someone copy pastes Tuomas' ideas... looks like they are good ideas and they are liked by her.)

@00omg000 There are some pop like songs like amaranth but VOCALS of 7 Days to the wolves is more metal than any song that Nightwish has ever made with tarja. Which means; music genre can only be changed by the songwriter, not the SINGer...

@reafras La voz de Anette esta muy arreglada en DPP, no puedes hablar de metal y colocarla a ella en la misma oración, Anette sirve para rock (como su anterior banda o su colaboración con rasmus) no para una banda con el calibre de NW, pero en fin discutir de esto es estúpido, disfruta la canción, o solo guarda discreción y madura :)

I have nothing against Nightwish's new singer and I appreciate some of the new songs but objectively : people who don't admit that tarja is a better singer live - so far !!! - and that she has a much higher charisma must definetely be deaf and blind...

OR, they can say that you are deaf since tarja's pronounce is pretty bad and it makes her sound really annoying. I wouldn't want to listen her live. but anyway she sounds good on cds, so there is no problem for me.
