My least favorite part when i visited Walt Disney World was that the majority of rides didnt ended where they started. i now love that at disneyland since i live 15 minutes from it.

I got out at the top and walked the rest of the way. it's like a giant spider web. they weren't very happy when they stopped the whole ride and waited for me at the exit... disney doesn't create memories... I do. haha.

@7Godforever Nope...still the same. This only goes 28mph though seems faster. Trust me, its an amazing ride that you definetly need to go on. I hope this helps :)

Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain has no drops or loops, its really fun :) Rock and Roller coasters have loops for all I know XD;

@7Godforever Been on it many times and always felt the same to me. The only thing different I saw about it was the wait line. When there's a long wait, they let you play games. The ride isn't that scarey.

Love this coaster..my first coaster and always a great ride...love it even more since the refurb, more stars and effects and it's darker now. Plus the music is a extra plus

You can definitely see why it is so cool in the dark. There are a lot of turns and drops, and when it is dark you don't see any of them coming. I really like Space Mountain.

I rode this at age 7 so...in '94? I was terrified. I cried the whole time. My mother said it was slow and lame, but I did not believe her. I think I'd be bored riding it now. But, man...as a kid it's a whole other experience, especially if you're an easily scared kid. xD

This was my first rollercoaster... I rode it when I was 15. The damn line was 2 and a half hours long, allowing me to anticipate it, so I cried the whole time. It was fun, but I just didn't know what to expect. However, now that I've seen how it looks with lights on.... NEVER AGAIN.

I'm very surprised you got to go on with the lights on.  Honestly....while the ride was good....this was my "disney disappointment" because at the end of the day...its a wild cat right in the dark. So I don't know....to me this ride isn't worth waiting 1 hour or even a half hour for....Splash Mt. on the other hand it at least 10 mins long....

oh my gosh. this video doesn't do it justice at all. it seems so slow, but honestly, when you're on it, its so fast. this is an amazing ride please don't let the fact that it "looks" slow change your opinion. you don't know until youve been there, and i go at least 5 times a year. this is still my favorite in the magic kingdom <3

i live in FL and have ridden this several times, but always felt it was iffy. The lights arent on and there are parts on the ride that can take your hands off if you are holding them up. idk why they still run this thing.

@Vykkdraygo713 We still run space mountain because it's the most popular ride in the Magic Kingdom, and you can only get your hands taken off if you are extremely tall, and it only seems like things are close to your head and stuff because it's dark. In reality it's far enough from the rockets, I'm no know it all but I know enough to have a job at the mountain.

OMG, that's how it looks when the lights are on. With the lights off it was scary because the little pod you sit in is so small and I felt like I was going to hit my he'd or fall. Yaaa... with the lights off you don't know what to expect.

Yeah whoever asked if this was good for 13 year olds ( sorry on iPod) this ride is good for ages 6 - 1000000. You'll have a great time. Get there early for 30 minute wait times instead of 1 1/2 hr to 2 1/2 hr waits.

@RyuumiDesu Yeah most of them are less intense then the ones you'd fine in a regular theme park but it's quite fun zipping through the cosmos in dark with the stars.
