@Insulineaddict I live in the heart of downtown Toronto and I walked around for about 7 hours during the G20 protests. Though there were some violent protesters and anarchists, I can tell you this. A VASTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT VASTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT VASTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT majority of protesters were peaceful. And unfortunanely they were the ones who mostly got assasulted by police and/or arrested.

They should have it in a military base or even an island but then that would lead to another controversy regarding secret agendas.

From the reports and videos I have been seeing regarding the violent protesters (different from the largely peaceful protesters) hurling everything from rocks to even urine, I think the police in most cases have been justified in their response. Especially when you factor in the large amount of property damage that has occurred.
