I'm not sure. I usually shop at Amazon. I know that The Right Stuf is sometimes cheaper, but I usually only go to them for things they uniquely carry that Amazon does not. Sometimes for older releases that they still have in stock.
Wow...I don't know if I'm jealous or just confused....I mean...that's impressive. I thought I had a large collection...but that just blows my mind. Do u even like all of it? I'm interested if u could suggest a few good harems I might like...
Somewhere out there, I'm sure there's somebody with a bigger collection than even myself!
I don't like all of it... I even bought series I knew I didn't like such as Green Green and Arjuna... but I value having them! I want it all! Mine is the collection that will pierce the heavens!
I don't really feel my opinion is suggestion-worthy. In the first place, what I have I watched recently that were harem?
I guess To Love-Ru and Kannagi were recent and surprisingly refreshing?
It's considered anime by AniDB, AnimeNFO, MyAnimeList, Anime-Planet, Amazon, and DVD Aficionado.
I'm having trouble finding it on Anime News Network and AniDB doesn't have any links there, so there might be some dissent, but the sites I'd mark it on call it anime so I bought and watched.
Naw, I'm just tired of having to pause my anime DVD, set my laptop down (if I'm working from home), get up, find my sandals, walk down the hallway, around the corner, down two flights of stairs, around another corner... only to find out that it's not the Fedex or UPS guy delivering more anime, just the dogs barking because a neighbor came home. (Assuming I heard them in the first place!)
Then, when I move out, I'll simply be paranoid about leaving my $50k anime DVD collection alone...
That white device is essentially what I said, but the text form of that:
The SheevaPlug is a 1.2ghz Linux computer with 512mb of memory and 512mb of internal flash storage. Externally, it has a Gigabit Ethernet port, a USB 2.0 port, an SD Card slot, and a mini USB slot to get serial console access to the device.
@Gigafrosty Ohh gotcha. The only anime I get on Blu-ray are the ones I really like. So then even if they get scratched they will still work because of the layers on a Blu-ray disc.
My solution to that sort of problem will be to eventually buy a DVD resurfacer. After all, I have so many DVDs that it simply makes sense to make that sort of investment.
what websites are the cheap anime DVDs sold

You bought a lot of old school greatness. Why do you need a security camera, do you live in a bad part of town or something?

that cool guy you were talking about has interesting taste in anime
thanks for mentioning my name in the credits
PS my computers name is Unit 00 do your computers have names??
toastyotaku42 2 years ago
I name my computers in ways that make it obvious they are mine, either using my real name or my screen names (Gigafrost, Nadian, etc.)
Although maybe that'll change whenever I move out on my own and have to maintain my own network. :)

Hi ive jus started collecting Anime im so envious of your collection and im sure the DVDs are more in the UK than the US its such a pain
ZacLuvaChic 2 years ago
I wouldn't be surprised if they cost more there, but I suppose the bigger problem is that it sounds like there simply isn't as wide a selection. :(
Either way, good luck on your collecting! :)

Hey how come you don't buy Blu-rays?
dooshbag612 2 years ago
* When the collection started (2000), Blu-ray wasn't even a pipe dream.
* It's an anime *DVD* collection, so I have to explicitly choose to start collecting Blu-ray.
* DVDs have been good-enough for me, so I'm not scrambling to jump on the more locked-down format.
Essentially, no motivation to change. :)

dooshbag612 2 years ago
Depends on what I get, but the one that looks most appealing at the moment is only $200.
