  • Beautiful landing at 1:10

  • Where are the guns?

  • @zeroMPUA Late model 109's carried 3 nose guns. One 20mm MG151/20 or 30mm Mk 101 or 103 cannon mounted behind the engine. The barrel ran down the propeller shaft and the muzzle was in the center of the propeller hub. The two bulges in front of the cockpit house the breeches of a pair of 13mm MG 131 heavy machine guns. They were linked to a timing gear allowing them to fire through the propeller disk without shooting the propeller off. The muzzle ports were behind the propeller.

  • The easiest way to cut the lawn.

  • pretty sur the f22 would beat this mate

  • awesome !!i wanna buy one!! i have 10 dollars.

  • Beautiful Gustav

  • BF109.....Folke Wolfe?

  • how much a bf 109 or a bf 109 replica costs????

  • BF-109 vs Mustang vs Spitfire. be really cool to watch that.

  • Messerschmitt Stiftung markings gives this away: Its actually a Spanish built Hispano HA-1112 which was re-engined with a DB605 and fake markings.by the German part of EADS,

This beastie started its life with a Rolls Royce Merlin engine post war and the closest it ever got to air combat was probably squashing bugs.and starring in the odd movie,

  • Love that engine sound! Looks like a bitch to land, though...

  • amazing !!!

  • Mir geht gerade einer ab!!!

  • top 3 aces of all time ,drove this hot bitch , any questions

  • not a g 10 bampery, g6 g14 db 605 a thanks for vid anyway

  • It is definitely a Bf-109 G6. By no means a Bf-109 G10.

  • shit that started easy aye!!!!

  • @legacyrs100 YES IT CALLED FUEL INJECTION WAY AHEAD OF ITS TIME

  • Half of the pilots who died in 109s were just landing their planes. The wheels are so close together that they lost it when they landed.

  • O love turbine sound of this plane, when I will to hear this plane in 1943 i will be scared.

  • omfg that is the best noise in the world! i love the sound of ww2 planes =) sooooooo sexy

  • what a bird

  • no wonder we ruled the skies back then!

    best planes!

    best pilots!

please don't believe hollywood and pc-games!

  • @nymerie Hate to tell you but even Adolf Galland told Goering that he wanted Spitfires during the Battle of Britain. The Luftwaffe actually wanted to adopt the Fiat G.55 to replace the Bf 109G but couldn't finish modifying the design before Fiat's factory was flattened by the USAAF. I'm not even going to bring up the Merlin Powered Mustangs.

I won't argue about the pilots though....Hartman, Priller, Molders and the Galland brothers...all amazing.

  • @Ahrimancp I'm under the impression that some engineers from Messerschmitt defected to the US during the war. And came to work for the North American Airplane Company, and presumably aided in the design of the P-51D.

  • @hermodpeter Can you provide any evidence to support this? I've never heard that before and WW2 was an absolute windfall for German designers in the early years of the war.

  • @nymerie haha yea, you still took it up the ass though

  • @nymerie dude, the Bf-109 kicks ass in the pc flight sims too, belive me

  • @tjampe YES! I beat the game secret planes over normany using the great messerschmitt 109. The bad thing is that i had to shoot down germans to beat the game.

  • @nymerie ya your right .

  • @nymerie in 1940-2 yes, but not after that

  • @nymerie I’m from Sweden and I have to agree with you. It seems like most Germans are ashamed of what happened during WW2. But damn you guys really did know how to build airplanes.

  • @hermodpeter sure it's something to be ashamed of! but I'm proud of our damn good pilots! hey, you guys build some decent planes too! like the saab ^^

  • @nymerie

I had a conversation with an "old eagle" WWII pilot. He said the most dangerous plane he ever flew had been the ME 109. It had not been the best fighter. P 51, spitfire, FW 190 D where much better.

  • @Fritztoons then have a conversation with some german ace and he'll tell you something different! besides, it' the pilot flying it not the machine itself! he didn't tell you that?! and we had the best pilots PERIOD

  • @nymerie

hey! It was a german ace pilot i talked to in Gatow .He even flew the Me 262 at the end. You seem to be a bit blindfoldet and not much educated. I simulation expert?? Doo you digest propaganda from the 3rd. Reich?? The Me 109 had been (and is) very dangerous at take of and landing. And from 1942 on it had been an outdated design. The FW 190 had much more potential and as the FW 190 D it outclassed the ME 109 Gs and could match the P 51 too. Do not talk "propaganda" here.

  • @nymerie of course youre going to think your country had the best stuff.. its natural.. but what matters is who won the war.. nice plane however =)

  • @aow4321 it's a world war!!! no won won it, moron!!! the amercians fought against the germans only when the war was already ending!!! so what victory are you talking about?! forgot about the japanese taking on amercian fleets?! the cowards used a massive bomb to somehow turn the tide! stupid faggots!

  • @nymerie Werd erwachsen. Spiel lieber Wii oder DS.

  • @nymerie the AMericans were part of the Allies, who also won the war, so in a sense yes America won the war, as did Britain, Russia and so on. The Americans entered the war against Germany in 1942 in operation torch, the Germans surrendered in 1945, thats plenty of war to see, we were the major factor in turning the tide on the western front. Now the Japanese campaign was incredibly hard fought.. if you think it was all ships and A-bombs youre mistaken.

  • @aow4321 It was rougher than Germany read about the Island hopping campaigns, specifically Saipan, Peleliu, Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Tarawa and more.. youll realize how little you know then.. and we did all that WHILE also fighting the Germans, imagine if we focused our Military, the Germans didnt have to deal with our US Marines in WW2 =)

  • @nymerie

i dunno man IL-2 is a pretty fun game.

  • @nymerie Don't say that to the WWII vets. They seem to think that that was real

  • @nymerie Btw in every combat sims I've used, it's one of the plane that requires most skill ;-)

  • Actual DB 605, not a Merlin powered, Spanish copy!

  • @Ahrimancp Damn right. The Merlin is amazing but it just looks so out of place in the BF-109

  • @aspiringdrummer17 ...or the Jumo 220 S.199 built by Avia. That's even stranger looking.

  • man we should get some of these things in our garage

  • screw cessnas, and piper cheerokees y dont we fly planes with character

  • Nooo i was in a 195 cessna once and the guy was hyper and mouthy to his wife in front of me like a jerk.

I dont like ones that are trying to show off .either act normal or forget it.

  • Bad to the bone !

  • I dont like COCKY PILOT'S their dangerous.

  • @kirkconway what are you talking about? there was nothing cocky in this video....

    fear is more dangerous

  • cool

  • Pretty good famous "metalic" sound.

Much more better than prius lol

  • I would love to see a LA-7 pull in behind and shoot it down. At least a mock attack?

  • Got to LOVE that supercharger screeching! :)

  • Great sound quality in this video.... Thumbs up.

  • ahhhh the sound of the daimler benz.... nothing beats it!

  • Respect! Who can argue with kills by Erich Hartmann, Gunther Rall and Adolph Galand in this aircraft?

  • speedy like tha sh!t

  • Its a G6 (early) the later vesions had the Erla Haube 2 piece canopy, also some were retro fitted by the ground crew ,,

  • @frazz109 I agree. It also has the early rudder, short tailwheel and bulging mg131 fairing on the upper cowling. Late features were added to early 109s, but the lack of any of these clearly points the the G6 as you mentioned. Thumbs up to you.

  • the best video of a actual flight i ever seen where they not so scared to fly it and treat it like a look at item this video actually flys the fucking thing for real thanks for posting PS please be carefull on that grass not to bounce your prop in dirt on landing that would really suck lol seig heil!!!

  • I thught G10 had a 2-piece canopy; this one has a 3-piece one. Are you sure it's a G10, not say, a G2?

  • @dl5270 It's a G6. A g2 can pull up it's tail gear and a G10 has got a bigger engine

  • @MrRammsteinKicksAss OK, so it's NOT a G10 as I suspected. Thanks for clearing it up!

  • Sounds so good ! :3

  • 31 people are b-17 bomer crew

  • there's nothing like the sound of a war bird engine to start your day!

  • great video

  • Awesome!

  • Super Video

  • @bkourman Its definately a daimler-benz, you can see the propeller spinner is large and the exhaust is below the prop, not above.

  • Is the the one rebuilt with Merlin engine? It doesn't sound like Messerschmidt engine.

  • @bkourman

No, DB605. It's rebuilt from an HA-1112MIL airframe originally constructed in 1958.

  • 31 pilots who got shot down by the BF 109 saw this video!!! Not even an f22 can defeat this!!

  • @kuchu25 But a Sukhoi can!

  • @kuchu25 32 now.

  • @kuchu25 exaggerate much? lol

  • WOW!!!

  • Great Sound !!!

  • 0:18 just sounds sooooo goooooooddddd!

  • THAT WAS AWSOME!

  • is this a 'real' Benz powered 109 or is it a spanish repro?

  • @Chiropracticmafia

Both. Spanish HA-1112 built in 1958, flying in Spanish service until 1966. Converted to Me 109G-6 standard during 1980s. Now with EADS in Germany with the Willy Messerschmitt Museum.

  • @razumfrackle As far as superior aircraft go the F6F was definitely a plane that has been left behind in history and not given the kudos it should have compared to the famous German and other American Fighters. It almost had the maneuverability of a P-51 and the power of a P-47 and had a lot to do with the turn of events in aerial kills over the Japaneses fighters. Sad part about it is its not the most attractive plane from that era and that unfortunately had a lot to do with it being shadowed.

  • Everyone loves the 109, I personally love the Focke Wulf but in reality they where neither an overwhelming threat to those pilots who knew how to fly the P-51's P-47's, Spitfires, P-38 etc... It all came down to the pilots skills, not the planes. For record Eric Hartman was the wars highest scoring ace but he also served almost 900 missions versus the American highest scoring ace Richard Bongs 170 missions and Eric no less fought against inferior aircraft the entire war on the eastern front.

  • @18bravo40 "Inferior craft"? Maybe the pre-war crap the Russian pilots were forced to fly, but the La-7 and Yak-3 were the undisputed kings of the Ostfront sky. The Luftwaffe Fighter Command went as far as to issue "due not engage" orders to pilots facing down Yak-3's

  • @Elementlmage Yes, the LA-7 and Yak-3 where formidable planes and where also the lowest production numbers of any of their planes in the air to resist the the Germans. The Il-2, LA-5, Lagg-3 and Yak -9 were the most in numbers that were the primary planes encountered by the Germans. As far as Luftwaffe issuing orders avoid certain types of planes this to was common with new in experienced pilots because they couldn't afford to loose the numbers and it was for a lot of axis AC not just Russian.

  • @Elementlmage I just caught that you specified the Yak -3 as being what the Luftwaffe was told to avoid which is partially true. They where told to avoid contact below 5000 meters because the speeds where equal and the 109 would overheat in long term engagements. The Yak -3 is a favorite of mine as well but again as I noted before they where low production numbers under 5000 total the whole war so giving the vast amount of front they had to cover there weren't very many engagements.

  • Who is owner this aircraft's??

  • History Trivia: 8 May 1944 a flight of British Fleet Air Arm F6F Hellcats engaged and shot down one Fw190 and two Bf109's in the North Sea over Gossen Island for the loss of one British F6F.

  • 0:47 - 0:57 in Dolby. The best 10 seconds of my life

  • I really like the ME-109, eventhough some people who didn't like this aircraft at least ME-109 are the key to the success of the Luftwaffe. This Aircraft is my no#1 favorite aircraft because Erich Hartmann flew this flying machine and scored 352 victories during WW2.

  • does it still use its original engine?

  • There is just something about the BF109 that says "You are fucked" even 60+ years after it took off to do battle

  • @NazarovVv - Unless, of course, one is flying a P-51....in which case you are not.....

  • @vv55sst I wasn't referring to the performance, merely the looks. The P-51 is beautiful but it looks like a race car, the 109 looks like a killing machine

  • @NazarovVv - That it certainly does, particularly in the later models as the "angles" of the B-E models are removed in favor of rounded surfaces (F, G and K versions). However, for simple brute "I'm going to kill you now" looks, its hard to beat the size, sound and look of planes like the P-38 and the Mosquito.

  • @NazarovVv Well said

  • Holy crosswind landing batman!

  • This sound before the Motor start is so awesome ; )

  • still sexy :D

  • The best sound of plane ever.

  • I want one.

  • Love the turbo piston engine roar in the air!

  • A legendary plane flown by legendary pilots

  • 30 people were looking for BFFs and found a BF109.

  • Firstblanfing was rough

  • The Me 109 was the equal of the Spitfire, but the engine had a different, sharper sound. However, my favorite German fighter is the Fw 190, I think.

  • @MowgliX same plane difrent maker/era ;)

  • @nimbalo300 Am I missing something here? I didn't get it... :) They were all very cool planes, and so was the P-51D and many others. As we all know, the Hurricane was the work horse of the RAF. But I guess the Spitfire wins the beauty contest. On the German side, the Me 109 was very important, but in my mind, the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 out-Spitfired even the wonderful Spitfire. I am completely ignoring the wonderful planes of the Pacific war of course.

  • @MowgliX yea cause the fw was madde be focke-wolf in 1930s while the me was made by mesherschmit in 1940 same plane

  • @nimbalo300

The Fw190 and Me109 were both initially designed in the 1930s.

  • @MowgliX Yes it was better than the Spitfire...... MK5 that is, but it wasnt better than the MK9!!!

  • Bf 109 takeoff and landing characteristics killed a lot of new pilots. But it was a cheap, simple airplane compared to the Spitfire. If the UK aircraft builders had been making something this easy, the RAF would have had three times as many fighters....

  • I wonder if the closely spaced wheels in the front undercarriage made it a bit difficult to land.

  • szép gép, a második világháborús fejlesztések érdekelnek valamelyest úgyhogy leírások, könyvek alapján ismerem, igazit még nem láttam.

  • The most beautiful airplane ever built. Wish I could have seen one in action over France

  • 28 people hate nazis

  • Comment removed

  • I saw 4 of these bad boys flying over Stanton/Anaheim CA in VERY close formation a few weeks ago.. Flying very low. What a sound...

  • "Like a G6"

  • @mrceebees14 haha good 1

  • It only looks right to have a German fly it!

  • Great Vid. Great bird, great sound... but they put the engine in upside down. Wonder if thats why it starts so easy?

  • @1903A3shooter

No. There are no great advantages to upright verses inverted engines, other than a little better visibility with the inverted V12. Simply a different design choice. I suspect the German engines start a little easier because the Germans used direct fuel injection while Allied motors used carburetors or direct-injection carburetors.

  • @FiveCentsPlease Inverting the V also lowered the engines center of gravity and improved the roll rate

  • What a gorgeous bird!!

  • What a gorgeous bird!!

  • i love this plane..except for its dumb stupid made landing gear

  • This one has the correct Benz engine?

  • @Tremolux59

    Yes.

  • Audio as good as the video. Now if I could just smell the oil and exhuast, it would be a perfect vid...

  • you can teach monkeys to fly better than that lol XD good video :)

  • Fantastic!

  • oh!! cool!!

  • Holy crap ......A Mazing !!!!

  • beautiful! thanks for posting

  • da will man einfach nur mitfliegen :-)

  • i want to fly this over buckingham palace on williams wedding day lololol

  • @Ultranationalist941 Be ready to find MH434 (Spitfire :D) With my ass in it chasing you!!

  • @Plawranc best pilot gets kate lolol

  • @Ultranationalist941 Make sure you pack a ring for William then LOL

  • @Plawranc NO WAY lol

  • @Ultranationalist941

the DB 601 would make a wonderful contribution to the bells of Westminster abbey where the vows are exchanged, Don't you think?

  • @gandurra sorry, sir it was a DB 605 engine

  • @grenzdebiler1

Of course, , how remiss of me! I stand corrected. It is a pity that Daimler Benz abandoned such a beautiful piece of machinery (the DB 605) they should make modern versions of the said engine , which I'm sure will surpass anything on the market today, in the mechanical realm, Germany's Daimler benz is the undisputed king!

  • what a SOUND!!!

  • It's funny how everyone underestimates the 109. Everyone immidiately thinks that the Spitfire, or Hurricane is better. But remember this, during the Battle of Britain, 109 E's had short ranges, therefore combat time was about 30 minutes before they had to haul ass back to captured airfields in France/Belgium.

  • @TeamPhantombeast97

There you have right. The pilots were also very good. When the Allied flew in Germany 44-45, there were hardly any well-trained german pilots....only a Handfull of German Flight aces where in Air..Thx for your comment!

  • Where was this air show? I got to see die Rote 7 (red 7), which is the earlier G-4, but I've never gotten to see a G-10 fly.

  • Beautiful!

Thank you for sharing your video.

  • what a sound!! luuuvvvverllyy!!

  • does this have the original engine in it

    / inverse v 12 ,,, DB ?

  • @natobaden

    Yes.

  • the sound, but the size of the nose

  • 26 RAF veterans watched this video.

  • @edcgr haha

  • The sound of this engine gives me goosebumps, and the pilot is doing a fine job on a bumpy runway. Wish my Cessna 180 sounded that good!!!

  • the pilot of this particular 109 looks the part ... a German fighter pilot

  • Cmon guys, pointless comparisons about this and that plane, sounds like kids talking over their favourite videogame. The pilot makes the difference on these pure fighters.

One thing has to be said though, the daimler sounds just too good to be compared!

  • Great design for its era but NO MATCH WHATSOEVER for an F4U Corsair in the hands of a similarly skilled pilot.

  • @wnyvideo

Believe your U.S. propaganda if you want...;)
