Kindle 4 gets less hate by reviewers on amazon than the Touch, comments there as well as from other YouTube reviewers mention there being a lag so that you aren't sure if it has registered your command, you tap again and end up two steps ahead often. A YouTube review by jon4lakers has made me worry about the Touch. There is also an article on winsupersite,com that is scaring me away from the Touch. If I hadn't researched I would have gone for the touch in a second, not so sure now!
@snowspells The Kindle 4 has also been around longer. The issue that people are talking about is lack of consistency in their touching. Example, if you want to turn the page, don't just grace the Kindle's surface with the scant touch of your pinky.. Poke the damn thing and be confident about your touch.
People are being pussies and aren't consistently pressing the surface properly.
@NiGHTSChao689 I'm not in the US so I can't go to my local store and play on the Touch as it isn't available here (the 4 is), so I have to rely on internet reviews. Surely the Kindle 4 should have MORE negative reviews than the Touch as it has had more time to accumulate negative feedback? The Touch has just come out and has a much higher % of dissatisfied customers. Bringing up the menu/dictionary is what I meant about touch slowness. I think I will probably get the Touch tho.
@snowspells The mathematics involved with calculating negative reviews is pretty up in the air. I wouldn't conclude that the Kindle 4 is better 100% just because some people don't like how the Kindle Touch works. I like my Kindle Touch, I could show you on Skype if you're curious to see how it works.

Also sorry about the spam, i find your opinion little off about the whole Charger adapter, if you pay for something, you should get everything you need to run the device, specialy if you, your self has baught the more special edition of that device,
Like buying a TV and needing to buy the power cable seperate :S. (Yes you may already have 3000 power cable's) But even so. You pay alot for those devices...

I keep reading bad things about the touch, that: it completes commands really slowly, fingerprints dirty the screen easily, it's so easy to accidently touch the screen and move to another page that this happens all the time and is annoying.

1) Its not slow at all, who said this..?
2) Its not dirty if you have a case.. or if you keep your hands clean.. don't eat over the damn thing
3) Its hypersensitive, the slighted touch registers a command. At first I thought it was bad, but after reading 2-3 books, I love it.
Whats up with that stupid dub-step music or what ever that song is? it sucks and totally mainstream.jk. I know nothing about e-books so what kind of files does it use? I don't know I'm one of those guys who like a physical copy when it comes to novels, comics, manga, video games and movies. I don't if i should get one because I torrent a lot of text books and self taught books.

Like you, i'm fed up with having tons of paperbacks crowding my room(which is pigeon hole in itself) And i don't get why some people see to it that ereaders are not legit, i mean we are still READING a book. @GearsOfWar12 Actually its pretty great. I was *very* hesitant about getting the touch-screen version, but after using it quite a bit I have to say I don't mind it at all. The touch-screen is hyper-sensitive, so even the most gentle point of contact with my finger will activate it. It seems to be a benefit though, since I'm constantly worried I would poke the screen too hard. I just barely make contact with the surface, and thats it!
@NiGHTSChao689 well that's good to hear! Because I hate touch screens where you have to apply a lot of pressure to the screen. Pre-gorilla glass touch screen was TERRIBLE!!

The kindle uses the MOBI format, which you can convert PDF/EPub to using a program like Calibre, as I stated in the video.
