  • I find it amusing that you bothered. Nick Clegg is a bought and paid for tool. He is vermin and doesnt care less about you. He is in there to help banks and private enterprise only.

  • Nick clegg is a saint

  • If Clegg doesn't demand a JUDICIAL investigation into Murdoch hacking and police corruption then he should fuck off to Hollnd

  • John Nash, the chairman of Care UK, gave £21,000 to fund Andrew Lansley’s personal office in November.

Mr Nash, a private equity tycoon, also manages several other businesses providing services to the NHS and stands to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of Conservative policies to increase the use of private health providers. (Telegraph)

  • The Tory MP leading a backbench fightback to save Andrew Lansley's health reforms is at the centre of controversy over his business links to firms that could benefit from wider private-sector involvement in the NHS

Nick De Bois is the founder of & majority shareholder in Rapier Design Group, a company heavily involved with the private medical and pharmaceutical industries, and whose clients include leading names such as AstraZeneca. Last year his company had a turnover of £13m.(Observer)

  • LANSLEY IS NOT LISTENING!

"When we tell him his plans aren't working,he doesn't seem to want to hear what we are saying."

Dr. Hamish Meldrum,Chair of the British Medical Association,May 2011.

It's easy and fast to send your message to the listening exercise using the 38 Degrees website.

  • Doctors, nurses, and patients’ groups have been queueing up to say how dangerous Lansley’s NHS plans are. Last week, the Royal College of GPs said they could “unravel” the NHS. And on Sunday, The Observer revealed that one of Lansley’s top advisers told private health companies to expect big profits when the NHS moves to a US-style “insurance system”.

  • So NHS surgeons performing for example hundreds of successful heart by pass operations every day are providing "limited & substandard services"! Nonsense!

"Health insurance is like car insurance". When you have a long term illness you can have a choice of companies to refuse you cover!

  • Save the NHS! The 38 Degrees petition needs Your signature!

  • sadly, ANY political issue consists of this;(for all u lovers of controversy);1 a politician on their next crusade, and as long as it gets them brownie points with the voting public, than it MUST be a worthy cause and therefore justify their effort.2; that the sheeple blindly agree, because the next "man of the people"(LMFAO!)mentioned it.(and oh yeah,THEY REALLY CARE!!)and finally,3;DID YOU ACTUALLY VOTE fo that IDIOT,then change your vote later on for some OTHER idiot? BREAK THE CYCLE FOLKS!!

  • Oh look, yet another Conservative fumble of privatisation. Anyone seeing a re-run of Thatcher?

  • Is Mr Clegg telling the truth, or just telling people what they want to hear. At the end of the day you can not trust these people, in their minds were all children who dont know best so they make the choices they see fit.

  • ROFL... Privatization is the best thing that could happen to anything that the government is involved in.

  • Judas.

  • Nick Clegg is a loser

  • @habesha9779 so are you.

  • Wow that was so..... Civil I can guarantee that it would not happen like that here in the U.S.

  • There are two things I hate about Nick Clegg;

    His face.

  • @DeletedComment thats clever. i like :)

  • NHS has more views then lady gaga? how is this right!

  • Once the well has run dry we automatically blame the entity that merely just facilitated the shifting of resources. we demand that they shift more to an area that may already be empty in the false hope they can compensate by shifting resources away from another area that needs assistance. it's an endless shell game with no winners

  • I don't want to see someone suffer but i also realize that there is a finite reservoir of funds in the form of tax dollars and personnel , when we demand the gov provide for us we are inadvertently demanding our very own neighbors take care of us. the gov is merely the middleman in our exchange. what if our neighbor has given all that they can, who should pay then ?

  • There are so many aspects to this issue of healthcare and there are real people involved on all sides. I have experienced it from multiple angles as an employee of a hospital and as an american married to a british citizen. i'm not saying my point of view is unique but it does come with some possibly worldly critique. the practitioners of medicine should be paid and the patients/citizens should be taken care of, but who pays for all of this care and who's responsibility is it ultimately?

  • Lol it's only cause cleggs a 33rd degree freemason.

  • Just remember....the WHOLE party buckled like a belt......

The only way is to vote ALL incumbants out!

Even if you think they are good!!!!!!!

It's the MP's that are corrupt....not the system!

  • he told us students he wouldn't raise the fee's. once i liar, always a liar

  • FUCK THIS MOTHER FUCKER , I SHIT ON THIS GUY'S MOTHER GRAVESTONE, AND PISS ON HER FLOWERS , THE OTHER OLD FART CUNT DOES NOT KNOW SHIT

  • cool so i just clicked on this video and i cant really be arsed watching it because basically i dont give a fuck about politics soo can someone tell me what this dick is trying to do

  • @xSCOTTxSODMGx sell nhs to private companies...cleggs saying he won't, but his boss cameron probably wants to make nhs "more effcient".

  • "were not gunna sell of the health service" why do any of you believe him when the pledge of "we will not raise tuition fees" was so dramatically destroyed.

  • The NHS is what makes our country better than those with privatised health care *cough* America *cough*

we can't let the Tories and their whipping boy Clegg have their way

  • nhs was a mess anyway

  • hmmm

  • Meant to say that 38 Degrees is great - gives a voice to so many of us and is doing a superb job. Thanks to all concerned.

  • Don't like the bit about removing the legal requirement to provide NHS services - sneaky wotsits. I think the bill is the biggest threat to the NHS so far and it's just so typical of the tories - they've tried stuff like this before and they MUST be stopped. I would be against any bills like the one proposed - whichever party/government etc put it forward.

  • really weird to see footage of the lescar pub on you tube - that's my local!

  • Oh no! Privatization? Everyone knows that the government runs enterprises much more efficiently with greater innovation and customer service than the private sector. Just look at how successful communist countries have been. :)

  • @DumbDuck44 I agree with you

  • @DumbDuck44 its not about stopping privatization and its not saying it doesn't do a good job, its simply trying to hold on to the system which was put into place to ensure all had the means to stay healthy and live well no matter their social circumstance

  • @DumbDuck44 Don't be jealous dumbduck =P. I'd rather the NHS than go bankrupt for having cancer.

  • @gabrielcrimson Uhhhhh, privatized heatlhcare is still healthcare. You're covered for cancer one way or another, the only question is do you want to have freedom of choice with different companies competing for your business with various options tiered to your coverage needs, or would you rather be forced into a single government option? Its like being able to choose what restaurant you like versus being forced to eat at a government cafeteria... the former doesn't mean you go hungry.

  • @DumbDuck44 Though for quite alot of people it clearly seems that way just searching 'medical bankruptcy' in google is enough to prove my point. companies holding a monopoly in certain areas of health care don't need to compete and insurers can refuse to cover you based on your past medical history. I have a friend in america that has to spend a fortune on pills alone that aren't completely covered by their insurance. I cracked my skull, compressed my 2 c-spine, br

  • @gabrielcrimson I cracked my skull, compressed 2 c-spine vertabrea, broke a few ribs and i need some physiotherapy after a gymnastic feat gone wrong (silly me) and had just been made redundant the month before. I'm pretty happy with the NHS as it is.

  • @gabrielcrimson Uh duhhh. If you go 20 years without paying into the system, wait until you get AIDS, and then want to get a million times more money out of the healthcare system then you put in, no, screw that noise. If you pay 20 years into it and then get AIDS, of course you are covered. I have never heard such utter nonsense before regarding monopolies. Name one healthcare provider that has a monopoly on anything anywhere..... What a crock! LOL!

  • @gabrielcrimson Its simply a matter of free choice versus forced single choice. The real problem with the healthcare system in the US is not that it needs less choices, its that its optional to have healthcare coverage and so many people don't bother. This raises the healthcare costs for the other when they and all the illegal aliens have to have their costs passed on to the paying patients. Also, lawyers are out of control, with multi-million $ malpractice suits.

  • @DumbDuck44 I don't get what you mean in by free choice In regards to the treatment of specific ailments.

  • @gabrielcrimson health insurance is similar to car insurance. either you have a choice from a plethora of providers, or you don't. you're paying for it all the same, and unless the government is more efficient than private enterprise at providing service, it costs the same. the NHS is actually cheap, but it is NOT efficient, it merely provides limited and substandard service to meet its low budget. And for serious illnesses, those that can afford it fly to the US for specialists.

  • Everyday in sheffield i walk past a massive banner that says Gleggzilla kinda makes me think he is a wanker which is probs true.

  • Nick cleggs a wank3r and lying one at that

  • save the NHS!

  • Real men watch in 240p

  • @TheKillerHulk Without a doubt. The war is beginning to fade from view with Japan's Tsunami, the revolutions in the East and Osama's death, thus people are forgetting how we were dragged into the war with Iraq. The Conservatives will be chased away before any damage can be mended and then Labour will get the same treatment when they don't produce a magical cure to our economic recession. I know it was incredible divided. I live in Scotland and most think they've had the Tories forced upon them.

  • EVERYONE NEEDS TO REMEMBER THAT NICK CLEGG ISNT THE PROBLEM.

Lib Dems are a very small compared to conservatives so people saying they feel lied to for the student fee's ETC hes not going to have a very big say, so please dont hold this against the lib dems, im sure if he was in government on his own, or got voted more than conservatives im sure there would be a different thing happening.

  • @LazySmi If the Libs Dems voted against the rise of tuition fees it would not have been passed.

  • @jbirdrules i understand that but im sure he was pushed into it

  • Next time any of you people are in an A&E or out-patients waiting room or a bed on a ward of an NHS Hospital you should play this game: Count how many people there are receiving "free" health care from the medical staff and then try and figure out which of them, if any, pay or have ever paid National Insurance contributions. It is true, some people do get "free" medical care in the UK, but it's only "free" at point of usage ...someone else picks up the bill. "Free" health care = no such thing.

  • what a dick

  • he's a twat and cameron is a posh twat

  • Why ask nick clegg?? He is the one who makes david camerons tea..

  • Why would you not want privatized health care? Government is inefficient, wasteful, and slow to respond. Private health care drives down prices through competition and is concerned with providing an excellent service to harbor repeat patrons. Any takers?

  • @cjsoccer09 And yet, it costs twice as much per capita in America, a private system, compared to the UK's government run NHS.

  • @cjsoccer09 Oh yeah, except all those people who cannot AFFORD healthcare. The initial and baseline idea of the system we have is that we all pay tax based on how much we earn and the cost is spread between us so that EVERYONE can get healthcare. Go to america, look at their system. Its horriffic! The rich can afford this, middle class and below CANNOT. It is just too expensive. Privatisation should never be considered, it is a selfish alternative.

  • @cjsoccer09 I'm a Conservative but even I have to say -though it has it's faults the NHS makes the UK one of the most compassionate countries in the world. We are one of the best ranking in medical care. It's not perfect but privatisation would contradict the reason for the NATIONAL Health Service. I love the NHS & though I believe in the individualist viewpoint of looking after one's own health I think the message of the NHS is fantastic. If you want a rich economy, you need a healthy country.

  • @ImBeingQuiteFrank I guess if it's working. I would always leave the door open that privatization would be better but I can't really prove till its tried. I live in America so I'm biased but just the govnt. regulation, not even socialized, ruins the whole system for us. If the government stayed out completely it would work so much better so I would never go for nationalized care here because it wouldn't work here, other countries are diff. I guess. Beauracracies are tricky in my mind. Thanks

  • Nick-Clegg-peg-head. Don't get the reference? Didn't think you would.

  • nick clegg is a massive cunt

  • Those saying the Conservatives will lose power next election -you're right. Labour will be elected again and the country will swoon over how 'caring' and 'liberal' they are. Then, when even Labour -the miracle party- can't solve our problems, we'll vote the Conservatives in for a stronger right-wing capitalist hand. Before we decide we hate them and the circle continues. That's all we do. Stop whining for Labour. People are forgetting that they WANTED the Conservatives to push out Labour.

  • for those who doesn't know. NHS = National Hockey Schedule.

  • Nick Clegg is just a puppet to the men behind the scenes.

  • You man are gas ... English frank for Prime Minister .. Free the realness .. And remember kids " jus coz u got a bag o docious dont mean your the dopest"

  • @umbanajooos Big up the movement

  • lol nick clegg

  • LEGALISE CANNABIS, IT'S LESS HARMFUL THAN ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO

  • @themilkmister

Of course it is. But you won't here that from the hypocrites who drool over their alcohol every chance they get. People who don't "get" marijuana have either never smoked it themselves oe haven't smoked enough to "get high". In other words, marijuana takes a few times before you start to feel it's effects. One joint isn't going to do anything unless you've smoked (and properly inhaled) at least six or seven or even ten times. Smoke ten joints, differant days, then you'll "get It

  • @MrRedPajamas son, i smoke weed all the time so i think i 'get' marijuana. and the idea that 'properly inhaling' cannabis gets you more high is a lie. me and my friends came to the conclusion its a myth one stoned night, and dont bother arguing agaisnt me cause you can smoke it your way but ill still smoke it my way

  • @themilkmister

I never wrote that "you" didn't get it, I'm talking about those that are dead against marijuana and think that all smokers of marijuana should be locked away forever. BTW, I hold my hits in for almost a minute at a time, just out of habit. If you want to hold in your hits or not is your business. Peace.

  • @MrRedPajamas love you man xxxx, i guarantee if we met each other in real life we would connect really well

  • @MrRedPajamas Everybody knows marijuana is for fags

  • @TheJay9002 Marijuana is good; it's better than not smoking it. smoking one joint a day is healthy; smoking more than one isn't.

  • Cleggs a decent man and a decent politician, don't know what the fuck people expect.

  • @TheJay9002

    decent men dont tell lies

  • @kdeeuk maybe in never never land they don't...

  • @TheJay9002

are u saying that there are

no people that tell the truth then,

there are people who tell the truth not every one lies

    typical lib dem remark

  • @TheJay9002

Of course it is. And alcohol is for the brain dead and demon possessed. Go get drunk and kill someone in a bar fight already. Prison awaits you. And a good ass raping awaits you also. Fool.

  • @MrRedPajamas You've been watching too much yank TV mate, we don't have institutionalised assrape in prisons like the yanks, my ass will stay unviolated in prison. Thats the problem when you spend all day on your sofa smoking dick, sorry GRASS, you end up not having a clue what the real world is like! Nah I'm only fucking you about man, I used to smoke grass. Ended up giving my intense agoraphobic psychosis ffs, but I smoked it as an addict not as a hobby, so that's probably why.

  • nick clegg is a liar and a cheat... enough said

  • The NHS is already terrible; surely it can't get any worse?

  • @ImStevee fine, buy your own health insurance. And pray that you don't get a disease like MS.

  • @flashash2k9 Sometimes I think that would be a better option. In my experience the NHS have been absolutely shocking.

  • You should have slapped him in the teeth

  • Clegg has to suck Cameron's dick to even have a say in the commons.

  • Clegg fail

  • @ayoopdog coalition fail

  • for def a man of his word☺

  • Ah, all you people who actually believe your circular lives matter in this shithole capitalist fuckgarden need to wake up. And no I'm not a marxist/communist. Confine yourself to left and rights, and you'll confine yourself to more of this irrelevant shite

  • VOTE BNP!

  • @sportsportsport <3, top man.

  • @Symbioticism Cunt.

  • @Symbioticism Born in Kettering, raised in Wootton, Bedfordshire. Currently a student in Music at the University of Surrey. I hope to become a ski instructor for some years and later return to studying music at a higher level.

  • @sportsportsport What of it, your still a dick

  • @Symbioticism Hunting you down. I live in Surrey bruv. Just gotto go by the uni and find you.

  • @sportsportsport Oh you're an internet tough guy, must be a fun life :) I look forward to meeting you. Im sure I'll be able spot you seeing as you vote BNP. You'll have drool running down your chin and the kind of gormless expression only a moron can truly achieve. Seeing as you have been able to successfully Google my name already I am sure you will have no problem hacking into the University network and extricating my address. If you would like I can give you my URN to make it easier for you?

  • @Symbioticism haha I checked you out on facebook, not google. ... I'm just trolling, I hate the BNP.. but you entertained me anyway...... I don't live in Surrey either lol.... ;)

  • @sportsportsport Out of interest, I like your spin doctor's solo... that is my ring tone at the moment :) I guessed you be fake, no one in Surrey says bruv ;P nice trolling however

  • @Symbioticism haha.. I thought it was funny. I was bored and in the mood to say something stupid on a high trending video, .. see who took the bait. Thanks for your comment about my solo! - Take it easy man! lol.

  • Comment removed

  • Clegg shut your fucking mouth, you lying bastard.

  • I don't have a love for either parties but I despise Labour and I'm glad they're out of power.

  • fuck off cunt

  • Who voted the wankers in then????? Eh!!! They will not win the next election for sure!

People are so fucking stupid. SHEEP!!

  • Gp comissoning groups were used before in previous conservative reforms. They failed utterly, I dont understand why they are being reintroduced.

  • /watch?v=Co2iH-7Z6XM&feature=player_embedded

  • This experiment is over ...finished. The NHS was and is the only medical service in the world to offer universal medical care to ALL for "free". How does anyone think that that idea was ever going to work out? About 1 in 3 of the individuals receiving medical treatment from the NHS at this moment are people that have NEVER paid a penny in NI contributions in their lives ...EVER. Go look at the figures and you'll see the sums just don't add up. Underfunded & Oversubscribed ...simple economics.

  • @digglyda You should stop using capitals to emphasise your point, it makes the argument seem childish and attention grabbing. Don't automatically troll me because it's constructive criticism.

  • @teevanator: It is my prerogative to use capitals to stress points in writing, especially on an open internet forum, just as I would likely emphasise those same words verbally in conversation. I capitalised 3 words out of a total of 89. That's hardly excessive nor is it particularly indicative of childishness or attention grabbing. I seek to stress the keypoints of things I feel strongly about as most people are so stupid they often fail to understand the point I am trying to make anyway.

  • @digglyda Well, true, but are the people that fail to read your points thouroughly enough to understand them worthy of debate with? ;)

and whilst it wasn't excessive, it seems to the more understanding reader unnessecary... but I guess im biased. I got it beaten out of me at a young age in school haha :)

  • @digglyda So increase the funding and staffing, as Blair did? The NHS is on course to overtake the French in terms of heart surgery and care advancement.

  • @FrankThePidgeon: No, I will not increase funding and staffing for a service that is available to people that do not pay for that service. The overburden on those that have to pay for a service that all benefit from has gone on too long and is unsustainable. Everyone knows it but for some reason very few seem willing to admit it. Too few paying in ...too many taking out, societies cannot be structured in that manner for anything other than short-term expediency. It will all come down one day.

  • @digglyda If someone can't afford healthcare the government supplies it, it's a simple principle. That's mainly why people "don't pay in."

I agree, there is some illogical patriotic commitment to the NHS, but if it were to be privatised it would raise more problems, and profits.

Making money out of someone's illness is far worse than some people getting healthcare without putting money in to it.

  • thats what this fucking stupid country gets for voting torries. Rich get richer, poor get poorer, and as for nick clegg, well can he get his head up up cameron's ass anymore?

  • Can't believe a word he says, he's a filthy liar

  • It's good that we have free healthcare, I heard you have to PAY for ambulances in America!!!

  • @Glory2Eva: Free? FREE?! WHAT planet exactly do YOU live on? I guess you must be one of the people that benefits from a service they don't have to pay for?

  • @digglyda I'm 14 years old, so NO, I don't live on benefits, and NO neither do my parents. All healthcare in the UK is free for under 18 year olds, and minor and or imideate medical attention is free to all ages. The NHS is a brillant thing and it means that all citezens of the UK have access to healthcare. America find it stupid because everything has to be capitalist and indepentent, which it doesnt. So think before you make acusations...

  • I net nick clegg, he is great.

  • @itsCARLDOUGLAS I'd love to put him in a net as well.

  • @phantomsnake Lol :)

  • i thought it said the nhs has a petition to hang nick clegg

  • @nablus0is0nablus presumably you are not disabled either.

  • 1:56 sounds a bit like the guy on match of the day 2

  • There's two things I don't like about Nick Clegg; his face.

  • @nablus0is0nablus Are you Palestinian or British

  • @nablus0is0nablus Hahah well that's a good argument, you lost because your wrong. And I really don't care where your from, but even so I do support Palestine...

  • you be aswell handing in your petitions to the taxpayers, its their money your demanding, i wasnt asked if i wanted to pay for your healthcare yet here i am paying it, so i say to you all, ram it.

  • @ImEuanAndIGotsSkeelz

you do have a say, in the system we have, we elect people to spend the money on our behalf. Its called democracy.

  • @897667 yeah and its bs, i have a choice of about 5 candidates every 5 years, i'd rather liberty than democracy

  • Hey we can trust clegg, look at tuition fe- oh well look at electoral refo- oh wait... well... no... no he's fucked up everything he's ever done.

  • Comment removed

  • I voted Labour so I don't agree with him anyway..But to be fair, he's a liar...Everything he said he'd do, the things that got him the votes...How many as he actually held to? Very few.

  • lyin git

  • @nablus0is0nablus When I'm saying uneducated, I don't mean in a literal 'I've got a degree' sense, I'm talking about social, moral, knowledge, which you clearly have none of. I live in one of the highest crime rate areas in the UK! they don't make me feel I live in a jungle and I don't think I do, but I understand and appreciate the work the police do in helping maintain safety. You sound like the type of person who would get continuously harassed if there was no police, you should be grateful.

  • @nablus0is0nablus Yeah I'm glad you removed that comment I was about to own you on everything stupid comment you made.

  • 0:50 = fag

  • If anyone has read the Orange Book you'll see that the Liberal Democrats' idea of reforms is objective and pragmatic - I don't trust what the coalition is doing in the slightest, but what the risk is that necessary reforms will be pushed off the agenda because politicians don't want to scare people...

Organisations with brilliant intentions such as 38 Degrees need to be more aware of this.

  • @nablus0is0nablus don't need the police... you loser!!! corse we do. we don't need defence is what we don't need.

  • @davetherave333 Defence is fine, it's war that's the problem.

  • @FrankThePidgeon we need very minimum defence... just to stop terrorism, if we actually went to world war 3, it would be over in like 5 seconds (nuke)

  • @davetherave333 That's a very idealistic view that I wish I could subscribe to. Unilateralism rarely works, and having a minimal defence force is not a place where it would. Heard of "Si vis pacem, para bellum"? A powerful military is a vital tool for peaceful foreign policy. It's not nice to hear, but I distrust the defence cuts for exactly that reason.

  • @FrankThePidgeon wooohhh you sound like you are extremely educated in the matter... I might just have to take your word for it. Although it is true that if no one ever fought, ever we could use the billions and trillions of dollars for research or to have ultimate health improvements. But thats not going to happen really is it? :(

  • @davetherave333 Yeah, health research would be loads better than defence expenditure! If defence ceases to be a national issue we're on our way towards it, though... Oddly, NATO, in all of its warmongering, is probably the best example of working together! No reason why we can't share resources cross-border for healthcare, too... The French have great care, so why can't we get told how to improve it by them?

  • Just leave the NHS alone! I understand we need to make cuts, but all the cuts seem to be in places where we can't afford cuts. Most notably public services like the police and NHS, and Education. If this leads to privatisation of the NHS than it will be the biggest mistake the British government has made years.
