Nice. I recently got the Fantom X and am trying to figure out how to make new rhythm patterns and assign them to the 8 rhythm darkened pads so that they can be picked up as a "performance" setup in the User section. The manual and workshop booklets are not the easiest to read and the beat making videos don't show the actual procedure (i.e. which buttons to push and which screens to pull up), only the results. If you ever make a Fantom X tutorial, please consider this topic. Thanks much.
I have a question for you. How do you set after touch for your organ sounds to react to pressure I press on the keyboard to speed up or sloe down leslie effect by pressing harder on the keys?
Mad props to warren harris and al sween, both you guys are the bomb. But bassman the staff at Gc and sam ash suck . they do know their shit but they wont show you shit. ive bought three boards their and they wont give me the time of day when i have a questions. they all up in your grill if you spend money but if you need help after the sale they like screw you.
samash = guitar center. both have poor customer service and the least knowledgeable staff (even in the pro audio department). stick with mom & pop shops.
hey nice vid, i was wondering, i have a fantom x and i saw a vid were MDL played his motif into cubase and was able to use the piano roll editor to sequence notes from the motif in cubase, and i was wondering if that was possible in FL Studio? i know you can import a wave into fruity but i was wondering if it was possible to edit the actual midi notes with the fantom patches like he did with his motif?
if you havent already gotten an answer...you can do that w/ FL...you have to go into the settings and make sure its pickin up the MIDI sample from the Roland...and it should be cool to go after that...but all FL is, is a sequencing station...for the most part...cubase is a recording studio...and if you're using the fantom...it has all the sequencing layouts as FL..but better...and more at your hands..
Yeah, It's hella funny cuz I asked so many people and every single person told me something different, some people said i couldn't do it, some said i could, but everyone who told me I could told me a different way, so I'll try your way but I have to wait to get another interface.
or u can just switch usb mode to midi from storage. if your drivers are installed FL will pick up the fantom with you just using a usb cable. of course the latency will be higher than using an ASIO soundcard though.
you are best your roland juno g video is best
