agree with most of dave and dameon's lists, especially bobby the brain heenan being no 1. not only was he the best manager, he was also the best heel commentator of all time, bar none!! (youtube old wwf matches when hennan was commentating - he was hilarious)
Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, Paul Bearer, Lou Albano, Freddie Blassie, Grand Wizard, Paul Heyman, Jim Cornette, Mr. Fuji, J.J. Dillon. To hell with the order. They all had great talents working with them. Those are my top 10 best.
Get sunny out of any manager countdown, she was great eye candy but a lackluster manager, seriously, besides the bodydonnas she NEEVR fit with any of the talent she was managing, not to say bobby heenan fit with haku, but you gotta take what u can tget sometimes, and what u can get this time is to get tammy lynn fytch off your countdown
OMG how can you forget Vince McMahon, he was so over as a heel and the rub he gave to wrestlers in his Corporation was huge. Without McMahon, Austin would never have been as huge as he was. 10. Mr. Fuji 9. Eric Bischoff 8. Paul Heyman 7. Sensational Sherri 6. Classy Freddy Blassie 5. Jim Cornett 4. Lou Albano 3. Jimmy Hart 2. Vince McMahon 1. Bobby Heenan
Mr. McMahon was NEVER a Manager hes the top 3 Heel ever, but not a manager, he was the owner of wwf, head of the Corporation, in charge of the corporate ministry, and the chairman of the board but not a manager...neither was Bischoff(he was NOT the NWOs manager he was "the brains" of the operation and Raws G.M. does not make him a manager
@Niroticpogo I agree, LOL! I can not remember when but I placed a comment on one of their videos that was really really funny when Damien practically sung a tune when he tried to say MMA.
Sadly I also admit that I know this....James Mitchel was a manager in WCW he managed Mortis and Wrath. Surprising pick im glad you picked him. I also like how much into his characters he really was.
Can I pitch one, dunno if it's been done for a top ten. What about top ten Canadian wrestlers. Could give alot of conversation, sadly however the marks would undoubtedly give bret hart number 1.
"Paul Bearer" or "Percy Pringle" [Bill Moody], did a lot more than just manage Taker, Kane and Mankind. He also managed Rick Rude, Steve Austin, the Punisher (Taker), Lex Luger, and others when he was in Texas, Florida and Tennessee.
whats up david it's me shawn i emailed you i was interested in a writing position with tna & wwe you said you email shoot me the contact details and etc
The Coach you guys are thinking of managed Mr.Perfect.Remember Summerslam 1992 when Mr.Perfect was going against Bret Hart, the Coach jumped on the apron and Bret Hart punched him and Booby Hennan on commentary said "he hit a man with glasses"
I agree with you, unfortunately for me The Grand Wizard was before my time, from I have heard and read I would put him in my top 3, but I never really saw him in action.
Paul Bearer would be on my top 5 he cut a 10min promo on Raw and was like "You fans call me fat" and things like "I'll get my Kane for you" it was hilarious.
JC was pretty good as well in his weird costumes and his extremely red face...lol
Hey when's their next storyline going to start, I was on the edge of my seat to see what Noah might do next......
Or maybe he can share who he thinks the great ones are, but base all of his decisions on whoever he is "managing", or whomever has come on the show with him.
I"m really glad that Sherri made Dameon's list. Look at the greats that Sherri managed: Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Shane Douglas, Harlem Heat (which includes Booker T). That's crazy.
In no particular order Mr. Fuji Bobby Heenan Paul Bearer Ted Dibiase Paul E. Dangerously Fred Blassie Jim Cornette Sensational Sherri Jimmy Hart James Mitchell
ok, so was Luna Vashon a female wrestler, a valet or a manager? That was the first thing that popped into my head as I watched this video, then you mentioned her too.
without seeing the video first... 10. Freddie Blasse 9. Sunny 8. Paul Ellering 7. Sherri Martel 6. Capt Lou Albano 5. Jimmy Hart 4. J.J. Dillon 3. Paul E Dangerously 2. Jim Cornette - talk talk talk 1. Bobby Heenan - talk, bumps, and vast diversity of guys
The man is one of my favorites. I'm a big fan of his work with Great Kabuki and Muta. Though unfortunately I believe his peak was before most people on youtube's memories. RIP Gary Hart!
Hey i was right lol. To be fair though, I'm not shocked AT ALL. I'm only 21 so I only have memories of Bobby as a commentator in WWF and WCW but I'm a huge HUGE fan of The Brain.

Mitchell was known as Vandenberg is his early years and in WCW was appart of the whole "Blood runs cold" angle with Mortis (aka Kanyon) and Glacier.
I'd say my top managers include,
- Bischoff (nWo "manager" more so Hogan)
- Heyman (High on the list just for his incredible worki with Lesnar)
- Heenan
- Stephanie McMahon
The worst, who I really hate is Mrs Booker T, Sharmell
