It's not stop motion. How would the camera move so smoothly? You'd need to set up 100 fps.

NTSC is 60 half-frames per second.... You seem to be confused... That's because of interlacing with tv screens and the like. around 25 fps appears to be fluent for the human eye.

@dodgedart74 Sure an eye can see at very fast speeds (lightspeed actually) but the brain (conciousness) functions only at about 30 fps. If you were to make a computer program and limit framerate to 30 fps and make an object move at fixed speed you shouldn't notice any difference when you change the framerate to 60 fps and halve the speed. You can try to observe a fast moving wheel too; the change of direction is a direct result of your brain being too slow.

This is real, if you read up on the sensors that you can buy now you would understand that this robots systems are all reality. Robots can keep balance and so on and all you need after you have the hardware is damn good programmer that knows what he is doing.
