This is not an easy song to sing but she sang it flawlessly. This woman can sing any genre of song and make it sound great.

She did a great job on this Tina Turner song. Very rough and raw just like Tina. Even gave it a bluesy voice. She was fabulous. I think we need to reevaluate our standard of beauty. She is beautiful and talented but not what the call video beauty. Singers today are not necessarily talented but are what you call video beauty. Anyone can have a hit record once the studio does what it has to do when they record you. Many true gifted singers are singing for their supper so to speak.

yeah, seriously. I heard people say that she wasn't as "marketable" as the other two, but if the other two are so "marketable" then why haven't they sold Carrie Underwood style? Melinda was the best period throughout the competition, should've made the finale too. It's stupid that she didn't make the finale, shows how much brains America has.
