@MrHardrod2 ure such a bellend, ure the type of person hat shont be on youtube cuz all u do is hate, just let the guy have his moment of fame and leave him alone, so what he broke a string, he still kicked ass, and @rickyggarcia nice job buddy :)
He should have always carry a spare guitar or two for emergencies like this. Any gigging guitarist knows you need more than one guitar on the road in case a string breaks and also for different tunings (Drop D or half note down etc.). Also it's good to have a roadie/guitar/sound tech with you to fix you up with the spare guitar in cases like this. A recording artist guitar player always has at least 4 to 5 guitars on the road with him. Just a suggestion. Great playing though.
@MrHardrod2 man i broke a string NOT him. so you want me to bring a spare guitar and a tech on stage just for jamming on one song in a 50 person filled club? andy didnt have a tech since its not lucrative to bring on a very small tour and the guitar market is that small if you are not satriani.
@rickyggarcia Sorry Ricky. But it would be good to have a second guitar though.Tough decision but if you were on tour then it would a good idea to take more than one guitar though. I didn't know you were just jammin on one song. Fortunate enough you brought along a guitar. My bad. Sorry but you did really well considering you broke a string. That shows that you're a professional when it comes down to laying down your chops. It sucks that the guitar market is not big enough. All the best to you.
what a great jamming man, Andy is the best guitar player, and you also play great bro, even having just 5 strings. Continue doing your music and you could be as great as Andy.
At least your solo killed! In a good way. That was a lot better than mine when I jammed with Andy. But I know that feeling. You don't even know what to feel.
I know him about 11 years and he asked me to join for a jam at a show he did on his tour in germany. Why I broke a string? To always have an excuse to say that I sucked that night of course! :-). j/k I guess it was bad luck to have something happen while you up there for an exceptional moment with your idol! :-(
cheers for that one man... well said... by the way would be awesome to hear you making a cover of cry for you... obviously improvising as he does... thanks for answering...
As excellent as this vid is, be sure to read the truly fascinating author notes on the upper right ("more info").
And dude, as composed as you remained - I'd never have imagined what you said up there. I would say that if you had SIX strings. OMG - grace under pressure (and still quality too!).
What a dream you lived, to play with Andy. Yes, he is a guitar god.
F***ing nice dude! Even with that broken string, you sounded pretty badass next to Timmons. Geez man, I bet that was so exhilirating... I'd love to get up there and jam with one of the gods, but I'm pretty sure I'd choke up! You did a good job dude, maybe we'll see you jamming at a G3 one day :)
hey ricky! great video. i know exactly what your talking about when you say you were nervous. i got to jam on "can't you see" WITH the marshall tucker band. i was stiff at first but eventually i loosened up. haha :) good times.
Holy crap that was awesome! if i had been up there and broke a friggen string...whoa, i wouldn't have been able to stop shaking :p Howd you manage to get the chance to jam with him by the way?
that translated the songs into English. ich hoffe, dass du dieser texte lesen wirst und du und deine band nach Italien wiederkommen werden weil ich euch spielen sehen will.
I adore the fact that Christina sing in german and its kinda peculiar and i think you don't have to do like Tokio hotel ( i really don't like them because they can't really play live and the songs are all the same - n' i know that even bigger and more famous band have done this before- and it's awful to see how they are used like a medium for business. plus they go abroad and they can't even speak english :S)
i like your band very much due to many different elements for example i think you're the few bands that also kids ( i mean also children who have... i dunno maybe 8 years old) like even if you have gothics elements, then the contrast between the style of singing of Christina and the music... you have a bunch of different influences that are easy to see, like you know, Klaus is inspired by Nightwish too and i recognize it. Actually i love this.
what is the song's name?

I can evaluate your playing in this video.I just heard you play. The articulation between your hands is off and sloppy. Take a minute to breath.
shredacuda 3 years ago
Yeah, well put up a video when you play next to one of your idols and I want see how much breath you have left Mr. Cleverman!

i understand your guitar playing less than i do your German, and i don't speak German.
