thats not very good advice my friend. the fan leaves are like solar panels. they are the ones that collect the light and fuel the buds. every node has a specific set of fan leaves, and they are the primary source of light collection for the bud growing out of that node. if you are looking to create bigger colas, i suggest using the lollipop technique. it has worked very well for me. there are videos on ere you can watch. but seriously, dont cut the fan leaves on your main colas.

Jorge Cervantes says the only time you should remove fan leaves is if they are definitely showing signs of dying off. But truthfully every strain is different so you have to try it to each strain to see how the plant reacts. A trick I use during the last 3 weeks of flowering is stop fert & water with molasses. They love the sugar & it even makes the bud taste better too. Try it once.. It swells them babies up..

start from the top and work your way down. Find the fan leaves ( the big suckers with the long stems) that are blocking light from getting to any growth tips. Dont trim the leaves growing out of the buds. Don't worry about pulling too many fan leaves while flowering. They don't really do much and the plant has to feed them when it could be feeding your buds. use sharp clippers. It doesn't really shock the plant. Trim all the stuff off the bottom of the plants also. It wont produce. Feed the bud

@milowerx69 yes but doesnt the buds also feed off the nutrients that are stored in those fan leaves and thats why your suppose to cut them when they turn yellow because the plant is finished using their nutes. but YES cutting the lower LARF ( Leaves that dont get much light) produces better bud growth.. but removing Green fan leaves is just removing energy those buds could feed off of.

You have to use a certain compound of soil + you need to add and nutrients during the entire grow. Except for the last two weeks. Thats when you flush the plant for nutrients and get ready to harvest. For soil I personally suggest 25% sand 25% leca balls and 50 % of the good plant soil shit they got at your local garden shop. Mix sufficiently. As for nutrients, order these from a growshop. Google it. This gives you mari mari mari marijuana. Also remember that all life needs good lightning.

Well I use a brand called Simontorp. Simontorp blomsterjord. Thats the norwegian name, Its 1/3 cow dung and 2/3 peat. You should see what's in store at your local plant shop. But dont be cheap.

They will flower as soon as they are mature. If you keep them at 18/day they will keep growing without budding which can yield more buds. Up to you though, sometimes you can't let them get this big.
