I think about the internet as if it were a big public library where a lot of worthy things are available for every one and not just for them who pay. Some things deserve to be public, the art in general is one of those things. Think about this: you are just surfing on the internet and the only thing you find ist publicitary announces (this is what happens some times actually) then the internet has become a big market and is not any more a really communication media, the art must be public. =)

I don't mean to sound harsh but imagin if you'd spent endless amounts of your money and time into a performance, only not to earn anything out of it. But the art is not about money, it is about express ideas and make things that transcends generations and cultures, when the art becomes an enterprice then it isnt art any more, for example, look at the hollywood movies, theres a lot of money but a lot of garbage too. earn something for the art is ok, but im sure that true artists doesnt want to be rich, there are better ways of making money, they want something else, and that ELSE is what deserves to be public. : )
