  • Deep River is one of my favorite negro spirituals. I've heard it sung on a higher key with a slighly quicker tempo and it wasn't near the moving, gripping performance as this.. It takes a very skilled, and soulful singer to do this arrangement justice, and MaryAnn really captures it. Hope to see you Sunday at Red Mills.
