Crysis 2....excellent story and OST but about the graphics.... this game dont have too much to do compared with Crysis 1 ... This happens thanks to the console plataforms... ps3 and xbox360 hardware its not powerfull enough to run 100% features of cryengine 3...never.. the console hardware are crap and pc gamers are paying for that.... gtx 260 core 216 its more than enough to run this game with high experience graphics..

@yuriXdanieru Crysis 1? where do you get it from console? and "Ultra high settings"? well i suppose due to console hardware that you say means... without Antialiasing filters at any level..so forget AAHQ16X.. without Microsoft Dx11 with any support of Tessellation levels and if i have a Samsung 30in with 2560 x 1600 px max resolution.your console dont support it.(any of this).

2560 x 1600 + i7 2600 + HD6990!! Doesnt even come close to looking the same with your poor console processing.

On PC success isn't determined in the first week after release, on PC you need to win people over with actual quality. But once you have them they will not let you down! Look at Valve. Inexperienced children (console gamers) on the other hand just turn to whoever has the flashiest ads.

@SuckItLily That's why I've lost respect for Crytek. Seriously? They were disappointed with sales on release, even though they did BETTER then they expected? In the first month of release they ended up with over a million sales. That never made sense to me - and now its up to 3 million and counting on PC alone. And THEN Crysis 2 sells 2 million in TOTAL in a similar timeframe. As in, all THREE PLATFORMS. And that's a success?

the effects seens in Cryengine 2 can be done in Cryengine 3, actually much more can be done and it can look and be less cpu/gpu intensive in Cryengine 3, just it isnt done like that in crysis 2, Also its their IP they can make crysis 3 (if they make it) into a god damn racing game and theirs not a fucking thing on the planet you could do about it, you stupid people seem to think that crytek owes you something.

it diesnt fall in slow motion.. well not if you have a good computer, and the trees are the only things that do seem to fall like that, but there are sweet spots on the trees which make them fall down quite quickly. (also if you havent seen any trees falling down in real life, then take a look cos they do fall slow)

@mrthuvi1 In Crysis 1 you could destroy palm trees and small trees. Crysis 2 doesn't have palm trees but you can destroy small trees so the tree destruction is pretty much the same, Crysis 2 just doesn't have as much trees.

@lagozit The trees you could destroy in Crysis 1 were thinner than the ones in the tree cut video. People allways talk like all the trees in Crysis 1 were destructible even though there was only 2 types of trees that could be destroyed: palm trees and small jungle trees. In Crysis 2 there is large, medium and small trees. Small trees are still destructible, the ones in the video were medium ones, which are bigger than the ones in Crysis 1. :)

The original video was done by a buddy...but just uploaded in lower resolution and wasn't a public video...just made for a forum. This one is with music, in higher resolution and public...because so many people watched it. That's all.

Das Video zeigt das man im Vergleich zu Warhead keine größen Bäume mehr zerbrechen kann. Ja, vereinzelte Bambusstangen und kleinere Büsche, aber keine Bäume...was vorher noch möglich war.
