This song makes me think of Patrick Cleburne, a true hero as with andy men that fought in the the war. Patrick Cleburne was an Irish Immigrant and was one of the greatest Confederate generals and died a hero with all his men attacking Union fortifications at the Battle of Franklin which is a shame that him and Franklin are little known, God bless all that fought and died in the war.

TheTtennessee Bgd. was actually directly in front of The Angle. Picketts troops guided left on THEM. Tennesseeans went across that wall as well but are usually overlooked or ignored in that attack. All flags of the Tennessee troops were captured except for the 7th Tn. which survived. The flag of the 14th Tenn. was captured PAST The Angle and to the left of it when the color bearer was shot down. A sgt. of the 14th Conn. ran out and grabbed it. All soldiers in that fight should be honored.
