@puertoricanguy6 Bounty has nothing to do with strength. Its just corespondent to how dangerous a criminal you are/what kinds of crime you've done. Luffy's dad for instance is likely to have the highest bounty, a bounty higher than even whitebeard's former bounty, but he's obviously not stronger if whitebeard was dubbed the strongest man in the world.

@RedGreenBlueGold O.O How do you base that? LOL. He was the strongest man in the world, a yonko and was feared and respected even by Sengoku and Garp. He likely had the highest bounty in the entire series apart from Roger (Pirate King) and Dragon (World's most wanted criminal). Just because a person isn't mentioned to have a bounty doesn't mean they dont have one at all. Take Blackbeard for example, he's still at large and commiting crimes. His bounty just hasn't been revealed.

@jaden2455 It's true he might have had a bounty, but it's irrelevant. A good example: Crocodile, a shinchibukai, only had a bounty of 80million. That's less than all of the supernovas. To put it simply, bounty is only a small indication of strength and fighting ability. It's actually based on how much of a threat a person is considered towards the World Government.

@RedGreenBlueGold I am fully aware of the fact that bounties don't equal strength. :) I'm not as stupid as many people. What I am saying is that Whitebeard was definately a threat to the marines. He had to have a bounty. If someone has a massive fleet of pirates (each famous in their own right) and multiple other pirate crews supporting him (kind of like extensions to his own crew) he could easily do tons of damage if he wished. Even if the marines knew that he wouldn't, they still had reason.

@RedGreenBlueGold As for Crocodile, I do believe that it was stated somewhere that the world government had no idea of Crocodile's involvement in the stuff that he was doing, and if they had known, they would have more than doubled his bounty. Additionally, when you become a Schibukai, you aren't a criminal really, you're on the side of the world government (hence why they were fighting against Whitebeard). Unless the Schibukai were doing something wrong, they wouldn't have active bounties.

I dont think so. all Oda showed us was that Bonney and her crew was beaten badly by the Blackbeard crew. Blackbeard offred her too join his crew as his wife but refused. Anyhow Blackbeard had a deal with the marine that he would get a ship in change of Bonney but the marine set up a trap and they ran away with Bonney and her crew left behind.
