  • I LOOOOOVE the Indians, they were one of the few bands to come up to Orkney when I was a kid! Went to see them in Ellon last year and was great to hear the old songs again, but Noel really was the man, not the same without him, but new singer did well, he has big moccasins to fill!

  • sadly the indians are not the same band from noel and paul left-their current lead singer stephen proctor is not in same league as noel or his son paul or indeed kevin kearney who took over from paul as lead singer and sadly now chris the drummer is gone leaving just eamon and brain as the 2 oridginal members left-noel brady was the best front man in ireland-----there was and is no one to touch him even today and he is sadly missed from indians line up-he was a brilliant performer and showman

  • i seen the indians in birmingham on st patricks night, they were fabulous as always, noel or paul brady wern't with them. they have a different lead singer and drummer but apart from that they were the same as they were when i was in my late teens BRILLIANT!!!!

  • Still a great Showband I remember going to the dances way back in the 70's and The Indians used to have packed halls everywhere they went. I remember The Flamingo Hall in Ballymena You could never dance as is was packed and I mean Packed..

  • To put paid to rumours, Big Chief Flaming Star is alive and well, although he is not singing any more.He is my Uncle and still has a great voice and is a legend in the Irish showband scene!

    The indians are still going and well worth seeing!

  • The singer in the video is Big Chief Flaming Star, real name Noel Brady.He is my Mum's brother so Yes he really is my Uncle.I know he doesnt sing with the Indians anymore and this video is from a long time ago.I dont know who the current singer is with The Indians,i would imagine it is the new singer you will see at Hemsby unless Noel is doing one of the Irish Showbands Tours which i know he was doing.Let me know

  • Hello again, i have just seen the advertisement for the concert at Hemsby, i see Noel is a guest there.That will be a great weekend.I dont really get to know what hes up to these days as i live in Wales and him in Ireland.I havent actually seen him for a little over ten Years.If you get to speak with him, let him know his nephew Michael in Wales was asking for him.That'll spook him!
