also there's only so much you can do with a progam like wmm, so untill I get vegas and after affects, I won't be able to do what I really want to do with my amvs.
finally, I was basing what you were saying, on what the song is about, unless of coarse you have no idea what it's about yourself XD
I know what the song is about but I have subtle ways of refering to myself in what I do...only a few people know exactly what i'm saying about myself in my videos it really doesn't have much to do with the video games or the song...I just do that for the entertainment of those who don't understand. :P
@solarisjag3 look all I'm trying to say is when you make an amv it should tell a story or be based on effects syncing with the song.
unfortunatly, alot of people don't take the advise of others. they think their work is good and if anyone says otherwise, they start going on the defensive. the result is simple there is no improvement on their next amv.
I hardly ever was criticized for what I did and I got better...just watch the videos I have they get better as time went on. I can be defensive all i want because its my video and i like it. I never asked for anyone's opinion I just tell everyone I hoped they enjoyed watching. if you didnt thats not my problem. and not all videos are there to tell a story or be totally synced with the song.sometimes things are a little more abstract which means it doesn't need to meet any standards of perfection
@solarisjag3 like I said before, youtube is used to get the opinions of others. just because it's not what you wanted to hear doesn't mean I'm wrong. so yeah it's not your problem so just except that someone didn't like your amv.
there's no abstract with amv's, unless you use some awesome affects to make it one XD now what your "abstract" amv is known as a runon, or an amv made because someone likes a song so they just throw clips in...
If you look at the amv in the related searches to the right, you'll see how awesome it could of been.
finally, most of the people on youtube just put 5 stars and say awesome vid. because they want ratings themselves. You can see with some of my older work, which I admit isn't that good, I get good comments and have 5 stars. so why didn't I win any contest, simple they weren't good

STFU it had nothing to do with liking the song. and some of those videos to the right i have watched and they are terrible. youtube is a place to post your videos its not all about opinions for everything. I just don't have any place else to put them that my friends would watch them from. :P I put certain clips in certain places to let certain people know something I'm trying to say to them...you are just too blind to see it.

there are several places you can put it on, like myspace for example, that way only those added to your friends list can see it.
finally, it's funny that you're saying I'm blind I can see every I can see some of it, but like you said you put clips in certain places what about the rest of the amv... you're just fillin space >:D....
finally, it doesn't take a blind man to see what clips were saying what. what about all the space inbetween... most of it was just random clips. and you obviously like the song, or you wouldn't of used it no matter what you were trying to say with it.
btw, when you talk about you're amvs you act like putting your emotions in it is something special, well sorry to burst you're bubble but everyone does it. the difference is they don't throw a fit when someone finds fault in it.
I get what you're trying to say, but the video didn't sync with the song. well maybe for like four seconds at 2:35. so overall, wrong song for the right game XD
btw, the song would kind of go with the story in the game, but not its cutscenes. just so we're clear

@solarisjag3 first off, stop getting so upset, it's youtube. if you put your work up then it's going to be analyzed by others.
secondly I have been a judge for like three or four contest, so that's how I am, get use to it. I analyze others work.
third I might not be the best, but I have been placing in contest, so I think I'm getting pretty good....
