I just watched czw cage of death 12, Im 23 and Australian i have to say it was mostly X division wrestling, And the Cage Of Deathg Match was lame, The UV Title match was cool, and the undercard with wrestlers who actually wrestled made tna and wwe look, like almost gay sex.

ECW overall was a better promotion, yes. However, to say that the Kawasaki Dream Tournament didn't have any effect on wrestling is a little dumb.

Even ECW can't compare to this. I know Japan is reknown for its extremely violent wrestling, but I didn't realise just how harsh some of it is. No wonder people like Foley and Funk are now considered Hardcore Legends. That powerbomb to Foley made me cringe.

CZW did have an exploding (or electrfied Cage Of Death once)one of those 2, it wasn't on the scale of japan, though... the cage of death is basically their "wrestlemania" from what i heard they got the way to do explosion matches from Onita himself... because he was supposed to give them to XPW, but XPW owner Rob Black angered Onita and he gave the plans to CZW owner Zandig... IMO the reason we don't have too many explosion matches in the states is becuase well, it's easier to sue people here

If it wasn't for this, I don't think ECW, CZW, ect wouldn't even exist...we'd be stuck with the NWA (WCW) and Mantar (WWF).

Nah if it wasnt for FMW. FMW started the exploding ring matches. IWA just did a tournement with the type of matches FMW were doing, but the exploding ring match was nowhere near as brutal as the ones you had in FMW. Check out Masato Tanaka & Hayabusa Vs. Mr Pogo & Terry Funk
