  • Brother you are correct in your statement Kirk Whalum is not a member of Alpha Phi Alpha. He will be participating in the "Sons of Alpha" event. There will be others acknowledged during that program who are not Alphas but they are Sons of Alpha men. I hope this clears things up a bit for you.

  • at 2:44 is a picture of Kirk Whalum.....he is not a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. However, his younger brother Kevin IS....I went to high school with Kevin and grew up watching Kirk play in the band. I taught their nephews Scooter and Kortland.....Kirk is NOT an ALPHA but I wish he was.....somebody please correct this....
