Jag gjorde lumpen som norrlandsjägare på K4 2004-05 och vi övade en hel del korridor och tagning av terräng, skarpt. Jag tror det till stor del beror på hur säkra soldaterna är och vilket förband man ligger på. Våran utbildning var RIKTIGT givande och bra. Om man minskade antalet soldater och hade mer typ av jägarutbildningarna skulle det bli så mycket bättre. En stor del av armén är s.k. kalle anka förband och främst pga dålig koll från befälen och brist på disciplin.
Kan bara instämma i det Adler556 skriver, NSKY genomförde detta ganska tidigt i utbildningen. Det medförde respekt för vapnet och en skärpt koll av var man hade sina kamrater.
Vi hade ochså en hel del skarpa övningar i både gruppvis och parvis. Både i skogsterräng och på skjutbanan. Gjorde lumpen som bevakningssoldat i skövde.

ja låg som stabare i östersund och ja fick då fan skjuta ksp, AK5, smyga i hus och langa granater och den där jäkla överlevnadsveckan, fast då var ju våran kapten en gammal kustjägare så det var han som fixade en massa tok åt oss.

@MeltUp3 Det där va en övning där dem lossades att banden på marken va hus en small gata helt enkelt. Då måste dem göra så där lika bra o öva mycket innan det händer på riktigt. I Iraq dog amerikanska soldater av friendly fire sånt borde inte få hända gäller och öva mera så får dem iallfall ner siffran.

Vi hade väldigt många övningar med skarp ammunition, och själv fick jag kasta runt 8-10 skarpa SHGR (varav majoriteten var under tillämpade övningar med skarp ammunition). Av alla vapensystem jag fick utbildning på var det bara Pskott m/86 jag aldrig sköt skarpt, men jag skulle uppskatta att i alla fall hälften av våra skjutningar gjordes med skarp ammunition. (Kan ha stavat ammunition fel, ska det vara ett U eller O?) :P
imo that must be the hardest possible combat movement. Corridor backwards is tricky to do smooth as is, but this involves running up in front of someones rifle while firing, basically.
its illegal to shoot up in the air, some ppl did that in the swedish military service and the bullets landed 3km away and hit a car through the window and the driver in the head... he died..

Neither hunters nor military personnel that I know of has ever been arrested for holding their weapon without safety on. Unless they stand straight in front of a cop going "Hey, look at me!".

the white stripes represent a corridor or an alley. in an open terrain they would not use the "corridor" technique. This technique is effective, keeping constant fire and movement in tight spaces. Did u notice they at multiple times had observation and fire readyness backwards? Very nicely performed.
That was a perfect example of that kind off assault... Did you notice that there was always atleast 1 AK fireing all the time. If the enemy fires first they are probebly dead anyway. Splendid run tho.
You can use this assault with more men. But there's always just 2 people in the front firing. That's why this tecnique is called "Corridor" you see as the soldiers running in the middle between the rows of soldiers. It's a real hard and dangerous maneuver wich requires a lot of training.
i have...i fire c7's in the canadian military...everyone wishes they had 7.62
the only good 5.56 is the canadian JTF C8, it has a barrel about 1/2 as long as an m16/c7. It is only good for up to 150ish meters, but for close quarters it is one of the best in the world.
AK's can penetrate sand walls in afghanistan, but our c7's cant penetrate wooden doors from 100+meters
the c7 and m16 are almost identical, the c7 jsut has automatic, a scope and a more efficient bolt design
however im not sure if canada and the US use the same rounds, canada follows the geneva convention very strictly, no shooting individual targets with 50cal etc...
our 5.56 rounds are designed to turn into slugs when they hit the target, and bounce around inside the body to wound, they dont leave big exit wounds. It is also behind the assumption that when someone is wounded, 1 or 2 other people will have to go help them, therefore you just took out 3 targets
Uhm for one 1/2 as long??? uhm for two its not the JTF C8 its the C8 SFW or the C8FTHB. They both hav 16 inch barrels while the C8/C8A1/C8A2 have 14.5 inch barrels like the US M4. Thats deff not 1/2 the length since the C8 and The M16 have 20 inch barrels. And also yhou must be talking bout the C8A1 because the C8 has a fixed carrying handle like the
M16A1 ad A2. The C8 is basically a M16A1 with as u said an improved bolt design and a M16A2 style forgrip.

Yes I have. I havent measured the exact thickness of the wood but it can penetrate alot. As for steel we´re not talking inches of steel, more like a third of an inch.
I´m not saying that it can penetrate everything, but to say that a 5.56 round can´t penetrate wood or steel is wrong.

its called Skirmish Drill, they're advancing as skirmishers in their fours. This has been done for the past 150 years or more. It was used extensively in the American Civil War. But 1 person in the 2 man team is always loaded ready to cover his file mate.

Of course it's not allowed. But you won't get thrown in jail. Your commanding officer will probably just punish you or something similar.
And people die yes, but very few from live fire. More from accidents like AMF1 03/04. Where two marines were rammed by a CB90.

Note that the AK5 is not the Automatic Kalashnikov serie, AK47 etc. AK, within Swedish military, simply means Automat Karbin (Automatic Carbine).
AK5 uses 5.56 (Video clip)
AK4 uses 7.62
Both guns are currently being used within the Swedish military.

Yes I have. I havent measured the exact thickness of the wood but it can penetrate alot. As for steel we´re not talking inches of steel, more like a third of an inch.
I´m not saying that it can penetrate everything, but to say that a 5.56 round can´t penetrate wood or steel is wrong.
If i remember correctly our(The Swedish Army) rounds are not designed to turn into slugs in the body, they are designed for increased penetration.(sorry if my english is bad)

UUUUU...like i would remember all the shortened words i learned in the army. I bet i know just as much about rifles as you. pretty sure i have fireed more rifles than you. Ak-47,74,the ak mg...don't remember the name right now,mg-3,ag3,mp5,M4 colt and the bushmaster,m16,LA8...and lot of different mausers,tikka...u name a gun...i ahev fired it.

DMR??? G3 use 7.62 rounds. Norwegian army use it! Our SF use ut. german KSK use the g3. 5.56 is a urban combat weapond. The americans wana go back to the 7.62 nato...cuz the 5.56 is shit!

The reason for running on such a narrow strip, is to stay on solid ground. Its simulating the road, and it could be mines outside of the road they are patroling

hey jackass! The G36 is 5.56*49....these guys use something similar to the G3 i think..norway do use the g3. 7.62*51 is more powerfull = Better than the "airgun" G36

That is incorrect. I do not know the exact stats, but it's a rifle that fires 5.56 mm projektiles. I think it is called FNC.
The old G3 is yesterdays news. Only our homeguard uses it.

sig 550 the most accurate assault rifle on earth (sa80/l85 is considered most accurate in nato) AND from what ive read and seen from the test results, you can almost do anything to it that an ak47 can be put through no word of a lie!

my favorite round is 7.62x39, .308 nato isnt intermediate enough to be used effectively in an assault rifle. but i get what your saying. 556 is just a fancy name for a .22 target round with a slightly longer round and a bigger cartridge. which means it sucks unless your hunting rabbits lol

its called Skirmish Drill, they're advancing as skirmishers in their fours. This has been done for the past 150 years or more. It was used extensively in the American Civil War. But 1 person in the 2 man team is always loaded ready to cover his file mate.

The howl idea is to get as much rounds down..towards your enemy 'contact'...and a 8 man team must overlap fire!!!! get ur enemy down by this fire...when ur "close up" ur ur antipanzer(NM-72) or handgrande!!!

Advancing as skirmishers was used during the 2nd World War but this was not the first time it had been used, it's a tactic that was used prior to the American Civil war. The American C/W was not just fought using linear tactics (men shoulder to shoulder in 2 ranks). Any other questions or comments welcome.
