@Shemiasty2 C64 original game booklet tells that the character is a boy from 80's that has been chosen by gods because of his great knowledge of myths, and sent to fight and defeat the evil god Dameron. So the 80's clothing fits the story...
Infamous did a great job on Jeroen Tel's original SID tune! I like this version way better than the Infamous version which can be found at remix kwed org.
Don't get me wrong as I absolutely loved the orig. on my old C64 back in the day and the thought of being able to play a true to orig. remake (not the Amiga version though) had me creaming my jeans. Yes I don't get out much. But saying that this does seem to play far slower than both C64 and the Amiga versions. Just doesn't look as nippy and smoothe? Any plans to improve that?
Seems to lack something that the Amiga Remake if this game had. Amiga version was MUCH prettier, more vibrant pallette and very atmospheric. Speccy original was the best gameplay wise.
I admire your efforts, but myself personally, would have loved to see a faithful remake of the Speccy version instead.
Looks very promising Smilla, i really like your remakes. I never played the original version though so I will start with that one (since there is still some work to do on your side) ;-).

Sorry Guys, but the Amiga 500 version look's better than your remake...
BTW: The main charakter in white Adidas shoes looks more like McFly from Back To The Future and does'nt fit in the whole mythological setting.

If I remember correctly, the awesome Bob Stevenson did the original graphics. Now, he's a tough act to follow!

Can't wait for this it was and still is a brilliant game.
It's must be coming for xbox360 mainly due to the achievments that both sytems now use.
Look at Braid i thought that was pc only when i got the demo through steam.
I just hope a remake of Alien Breed 1 and 2 comes too.

its just as smooth as the c64 version and probably a bit faster, capture software does tend to slow things down a bit.
