  • Great vid but can't stand the F$#% large CVP logo on the screen!!!!!

  • What am *I* waiting for? Why, the clients to pay for this, of course!

  • But is it as good as the F23?

  • waoooo

  • can you shoulder it without buying ridiculous and expensive after market kit?

  • well maybe he is really not a expert at that topic thanx

    for your asnwers

  • that sony rep is a moron, it's a expencive camera and he's selling it with info so basic! I want to know the tech stuff, not does it have a god damn expanded focus function!!! =P

  • please explain 4 4 4 and did he said ?' its comming april of this year or 2012??

  • @amigosud Those numbers are ratio that represent the amount of sampling for each primary color (RGB). 4.4.4 tells you that each of those have been sampled at 13.5Mhz. This camera DOES NOT deliver 4.4.4 but 4.2.0 (13.5Mhz for Green + Luninance, and then 6.75Mhz for each odd line). 4.2.0 is found on DVD and all DV formats (MiniDV, DVCAM, DVCPRO...). The good news is you can bypass that sampling and get 4.2.2 by using their dual HDSDI...at 10 bits ! (instead 8). Hope this info helps.

  • @amigosud btw 10 bit is good for colour correction and effects but not nessesary if you shoot and light well

  • Nice review guys.. it'd be interesting to see some shots of fast moving subjects, some variable frame rate, etc. However... that's just me being interested. Nice review.

  • cineroid EVF? is this EVF on the F3's LCD better looking than the built in camera's eyepiece? larger, more resolution?

    thanks for the review!

  • What a romantic looking review !

  • great looking camera and i spot the cineroid EVF!

  • Nice Review

  • Whats the native resoluation of the sensor?

  • @JogBird I'm pretty sure its 1080p.

  • @JogBird 3.5k sensor debayered down to full 1080p with full 4:4:4 color information. Photosites also have 4 times the amount of surface area as Reds MX sensor (12 microns), giving it ridiculous low light capability, dynamic range, and biggest of all, absolutely zero noise, even when pushed around to 18db of gain. It can see in the dark!
