Damn. This movie reminds me of the days I hung out in village as a graffiti writer. And yes, I knew Jean Basquiat before the cops killed him. The 80s were expressive years for inner-city kids from The Bronx, Brooklyn, Harlem & Queens to find themselves in shallow materialistic Manhattan. We found ourselves and now we're running million dollar companies. The creator works in mysterious ways.
