Spiderman was the greatest super hero film of all time. Seriously, fuck your Dark Knight. Spiderman had all of the elements of a great movie. The origin: Spiderman is a losery high school kid, and millions of people related to him. The change: Spiderman gains super powers, and he uses it the way any high school student would. The arc: He learns from his Uncle's short word of advice that he must control himself. This movie has 10 times more depth than any other super hero film I have ever seen.

I just got back from the prescreening of Brave. Though it takes place in Scotland, It's not a traditional fairytale. It's more of a legend. There isn't even any romance in it! The film is actually about a mother-daughter relationship rather than bravery, as the title misleads. The queen-mother representing duty and order, while her daughter represents individuality and irresponsibility. Both have their pros and cons, but come together to find what is best for both the kingdom and themselves.

Well, Marvel has a reason, they are making the origin stories for all the avengers before making the avengers movie itself. It's building up to something, something really awesome. I don't like DC characters, or comics, or anything DC. The Dark Knight however was an amazing movie, I'll definatly agree. But they really should stop trying to make DC character movies, they just arent cool or exciting like more in-depth, interesting Marvel characters. That's just my opinion, though.
