The very fact that the pressure in oil fields is what they are shows that these fields must be only a few thousand years old. The oil fields themselves are under the fossil layers by a long long way. Oil is produced by a layer of rock above the Earth's mantle and is still being produced. It is not a fossil fuel. Coal is a fossil fuel. It is evidence of Noah's flood.

@TheEinstienian Thank you for this question. The only evidence that we have concerning the speed of light outside of the solar system shows that lights speed increases as it escapes the solar system. No one knows the speed of light in deep space. Perhaps it is infinite.

Their signals were arriving to quickly. It may be instantaneous. It should also be taken into consideration that the only really true method that we have for estimating a star's distance from us is the parallax method and this is only fairly accurate to about 300 light years. The other methods are just speculation and subject to bias.

Fossils don't prove much. They have found items in fossil from 100 years ago...that had a cowboy boot in it...the design on the boot showed to be about 100 years ago in fashion, but the carbon dating on the fossil showed that it went waaaay back. Proof that carbon dating isn't accurate.

What you say is true. They do ice core drilling in Antarctica and claimed that each ring represented a year. It was proven that each ring did not represent a year, but each layer represented melting and freezing, which can happen many times a year, but the drillers still try to claim a year for a ring even after it has been proven wrong.

first of all, it's not been conclusively proven that the natural laws ARE immutable...also, if you look at the youtube channel 10thdim, you can see how all possible realities, with all possible sets of laws and outcomes for the universe, are allowed for in 10 dimensions. anyway, there's plenty of evidence that the 4 forces of the universe split off from each other after the big bang(first gravity, then the rest of them). but still, none of this presupposes a creator! it doesn't logically follow.

The very fact that the pressure in oil fields is what they are shows that these fields must be only a few thousand years old. The oil fields themselves are under the fossil layers by a long long way. Oil is produced by a layer of rock above the Earth's mantle and is still being produced. It is not a fossil fuel. Coal is a fossil fuel. It is evidence of Noah's flood.

Their signals were arriving to quickly. It was finally decided that they were actually located where they should have been but we were getting ghost positions because the signals were traveling faster than the assumed speed of light. It may be instantaneous. It should also be taken into consideration that the only really true method that we have for estimating a star's distance from us is the parallax method and this is only fairly accurate to about 300 light years. The other methods are just speculation and subject to bias.

One anecdotal story is not adequate for throwing out decades of theory. What other evidence does he have? Skeletal fossils? A camping site? The difference between cranks and scientists is that scientists proposal a theory and attempt to show that it is the most plausible by demonstrating adequate evidence that evinces the high likelihood that the theory makes the most amount of sense. I agree with the skeptical scientist who thought it was most likely a fake.

Fossils don't prove much. They have found items in fossil from 100 years ago...that had a cowboy boot in it...the design on the boot showed to be about 100 years ago in fashion, but the carbon dating on the fossil showed that it went waaaay back. Proof that carbon dating isn't accurate.

maybe so but to suggest it is 6 thousand years old or anywhere in that vicinity is ludicrous seriously the earth has human skeletons older than that. we have fossils of man burried with a puppy dating back 11 thousand years in iraq.rocks take billions of years to form as does most geological structures . the last ice age ended 10 thousand years ago.then we have dinosaur fossils . there is overwhelming evidence to show the timeline of the Earth runs into billions of years

The truth is unless we could go back in a time machine we may never know. there is nothing to compare the data with to know anything for sure. we used to think it took millions of years to form diamonds, but guess what they made one from MJs hair. i think it took less than a week.

in 1400 it was a scientist that was burned at the steak for trying to prove that the earth was round, because it went against religious dogma...Do a little research...As far as diamonds: It takes millions of years for them to form naturally...Scientists have learned how to simply speed up the process in a controlled environment...The reason scientific and archeological finds are hidden is because if the truth came out The church would fall and the church would loose its control..

Perhaps it should be you doing some research? Nobody was ever burned at the stake for trying to prove the Earth is round. I'm guessing you must either be thinking of Giordano Bruno, or Galileo. Bruno was burned at the stake in 1600 though, not 1400. And, the idea that he was burned for astronomical ideas is a myth. He was burned for being a pantheist. Galileo wasn't burned - he was imprisoned - not for saying the Earth was round, but for saying that the Sun was at the center of the solar system

In fact, the idea that the ancients believed the Earth was flat is a myth itself. They didn't. It was a myth born and popularized during the Victorian era. Humans have known the earth was round ever since they built and sailed the first ocean going ships, and they were able to watch ships coming in land over the horizon. Archeological evidence tells us that humans had ocean going ships over 5,500 years ago.

I don't believe it was the Romans who wrote that book. (Council of Nicea dealt with revisions/omissions) This book is a rebranded, repackaged, greatest hits mish mash of ancient misunderstood(sun worship & other) stories marketed to a "new audience" by Canaanite religious leaders eager to form a new identity (Jewish) around some regional patriarchal deity on their local populace. I agree with that completely.....there is evidence that it might be 10000 or less...although is not definite...but it is definitely a young earth....but it is definitely not billions and billions of years...one such evidence is that the moon separates from the earth 3.8 centimeters per year...if it was billions of years ago...we would have no moon...think about...check it out....Polonium Halos...etc....Saturn's Rings are pulling away..etc.....

I read Forbidden Archaeology years ago. Though I don't agree with their basic premise that humans existed millions of years ago, I highly recommend reading it. Cremo and Thompson accept the evolutionists dating as unbiased while recognizing evo's are supressing info that would challenge their world view!

What you say is true. They do ice core drilling in Antarctica and claimed that each ring represented a year. It was proven that each ring did not represent a year, but each layer represented melting and freezing, which can happen many times a year, but the drillers still try to claim a year for a ring even after it has been proven wrong.

could it be the stone was used to try and kill an animal and it embedded in the wall. Just because its in the wall does not mean its dated from the time of the wall. Maybe 100,000 years ago that exposed wall was a little softer due to climate conditions and when that hunter hurled the rock it stuck.

Given an option to believe something may exist with no penalty for believing or choosing not to believe with a major penalty the only rational choice is to believe. Ancient philosophers were wise enough not to use scientific reasoning and logic to debate God's existence. Be aware that doing so by design creates a sadistic choice. Faith, in scientific means or methodology is simply the confidence we gain, which I don't dispute. For what it applies to that faith/confidence is justified. As for good and evil, there is ample evidence both exist. My point is that applying scientific reasoning and logic to question the existence of God creates a sadistic choice. first of all, it's not been conclusively proven that the natural laws ARE immutable...also, if you look at the youtube channel 10thdim, you can see how all possible realities, with all possible sets of laws and outcomes for the universe, are allowed for in 10 dimensions. anyway, there's plenty of evidence that the 4 forces of the universe split off from each other after the big bang(first gravity, then the rest of them). but still, none of this presupposes a creator! it doesn't logically follow.

i feel i should be more specific. the simple fact that things exist doesn't prove that some greater intelligence actually PUT them into existence. furthermore, the more details you invent to describe this "creator", the less likely you are to be correct! this is one of the reasons why pascal's wager is so ridiculous. for example, if i said god was white, i would be severely reducing the chances that i was right, since there are so many other colors. if i wrote a whole BOOK about god...well... :P

Presented the option of choosing to believe having no penalty or choosing not to believe having a potential penalty, the only rational decision is to believe. Otherwise, one must rationalize an irrational choice, which is the short concise definition of insanity.

Many philosophers were also renowned mathematicians. Math to the point of Pi was reasonable and logical and then faces the insanity of trying to understand & rationalize Pi. What I am trying to demonstrate is there are those things that are in existence that do not lend themselves to scientific reasoning and logic.
