This ranks among their best tracks, the great sounding DCT and a great easygoing sax solo by Fred; all way ahead of its time. I can't even talk to the young kids today about this. It's still way over their heads.
It's certainly one of BST's more melodic songs with a really good brass section on the chorus abd, well DCT ever disappoint in the vocal department (NO). One of the better BST tracks on a fabulous album.
These guys are great! Probably their best song. If you like these guys, you should check out Chase. They have one hell of a horn section as well. Love this style of music.
@uswmsa41 You rank in an ultra small minority who can remember Chase. Two thumbs up for that fact, and double kudos for noting a truly outstanding horn section. Very sad that no music is out there today close to what bands like these, two, ToP, Chicago, EWF and Lighthouse could generate. Thanks for the memories
Bobby Colomby was one hell of a drummer -- can you hear that sophisticated poly rhythmic under and back beat but seeming simple and yet so smooth!! I grew up listening to this band and this drummer -- Great band and their tunes still work today!! especially today!!
One of my all-time favorite B,S & T songs! Had the album on LP for many, many years. Bought the CD back in the '90s. Great (but short) Fred Lipsius sax solo. Those 3 albums from 1969-1971 will always be the quintessential B,S & T recordings.
I am in my early fifties - when i first heard this song i bought every blood sweat and tears album out at the time - back when i was a teen, of course! love this group...
Dynamite song....!!!!

Does anyone know who the "Lisa" is that Halligan & Clayton-Thomas were referring to in the lyrics of this song?

This and "John the Baptist" are the very best from this album. Always considered BST4 the very best BST album! After this all went down the hill...
