  • I wish maher would use reason & logic instead of just insulting people. It makes him look stupid.

  • God never said he wouldn't wipe out the world again, he just told Noah that he would never use a flood to do it again. There are alot of ways he can destroy the world beside flooding. Come on, religious idiots, keep your bullshit straight!

  • Bill Maher makes some good points. But it just seems like he lives to bash his home country for the hell of it. I mean, does he really know what it's like to be working class? To live in middle American or anywhere outside of Los Angeles or New York City? Like I said, the things he says about our politicians is dead on (for the most part). But to sit there and laugh and make fun of people's religion with a guy who is not familiar enough with it to be doing the same is disgusting.

  • it's always surprising how little Fareed Zakaria knows. He thinks the public wasn't behind the Public Option and marijuana legalization. You can look up that data in 5 seconds

  • @Craigipedia That was the only intelligent thing the guy said! The pro-pot crowd trying to convince everyone that Marijuana is not addictive and that it does not endanger people who smoke it (it alters the mind) is a lie. Marijuana laws shouldn't be equated with narcotic laws, that's true. Because Marijuana is a plant, not a narcotic. Whether or not a specific poll shows Americans in favor of legalization or not is irrelevant on two counts: polls do not represent actual facts...

  • @alabaster30 ...and 2. the dangers of marijuana use are backed up by doctors and psychologists across the country. Holistic or not.

  • @alabaster30 please stop talking about narcotics versus plants. the vast majority of narcotics are derived from plants. Heroin, cocaine, etc are all narcotics and they are derived from plants.

  • We were laughing....but its starting to not be funny any more, especially as he says - when these nutjobs who rly think the world is 5000 years old have so much power over the future of the entire world....

  • @lordcallanahan It's true tho, give the power to the red-neck agenda (republicans) and this will be the new dark ages

  • in response to Bill's last comment: Bill, we're no longer laughing. We're cringing, facepalming and tearing our hair out. The USA needs to sort it's shit out, get shot of the religious retards and expose & tear down the elites, because WE CAN'T DO IT FOR YOU, as much as we would like to.

  • @ThePassiveFist No one's asking you to laugh, not to laugh or to 'do it for us.' If you do not live in this country then you have no right to judge what goes on here. As far as the U.S. being involved in other countries' business and our foreign policy, I agree. But do not comment on our domestic issues. You are not qualified.

  • @alabaster30

I see your point - however...

What happens in the USA, what you refer to as 'domestic issues' affects us, even though it shouldn't. I am as qualified as ANYONE to comment on these things. as far as judging what goes on in the USA - your journalists and politicians seem to have no qualms about sticking their noses into other countries' internal affairs, so it's a 2-way street. feel free to comment on NZ affairs, if you care, or if it affects you.

  • for real bill.nail on the head

  • Lol -- I think we need a balance between American energy and European sclerosis. :)

  • Laughing in Sweden too. It's funny when you hear some americans say that it's "the greatest country in the world". Have they ever been outside of the US? What's so great? The freedom to protect yourself with a gun against other people with guns? The freedom from healthcare? It's just bizarro world over there.

  • @ztarzcream Laughing in Norway aswell, even tho there are over 12 million scandinavians in the US i feel sad for them cause most of them has fallen to the redneck patriot mindset

  • @ScandinavianEmokid Who's ignorant here? You're conveniently labeling all of America except your Norwegian brethren as 'redneck'? I've been to Norway (Norge), and you guys have your share of nationalism/patriotism and drunk rednecks. You're one to judge.

  • @alabaster30 It's not ignorance, for several years the US was my Idol, it was a country i looked up to. Now when you realize what kind of people control it, how Texans and south-Americans in general behave. How creationism is even debated if it should be taught as SCIENCE. Since when and in what western country has the flintstones ever been looked upon as historical evidence or even a documentary?

  • @alabaster30 The US got a politics problem you gotta admit that, when people want to stay conservative and live in the 18th century when it's the 21st you just have to say that there is something wrong. Please don't get all on the defence, i myself know that Norwegian politics have alot of flaws. I mean come on, we are a nation built on nodding democracy, people just nod when they hear a word they like instead of thinking. Have a sense of freedom, get rid of the chains

  • "They must be laughing at us in every world capital when they hear something like that" We are laughing in Reykjavík, Iceland (one of the least religious countries in Europe)

  • average american amazingly other world people find them somewhat disconnected talking about some Biblical ideals and freedoms they think they invented. Ku-ku

  • Bill Maher speaks the truth in spades!!! We are the laughing stock of the industrialized world. The religious fanatics are propping up political "yokels" alright!! But there is no hope. America is the Titanic. the right wing and the religious zealots have a death grip of control on the minds of the average dumb american. it is purely a case of "Iceberg straight ahead".

  • "Go screw yourself +" sounds awesome, where do I put my signature?

  • If you are true left winged liberal. You will be better of voting Ralph Nader.

  • The United States is a result of a british empire and the immigration of European farmers.

  • @CognitiveNetwork don't forget McDonalds and greed

  • Comment removed

  • Let me help out Bill Maher at 6:50, free healthcare until you're 18, very cheap healthcare after that, free education, even at university level, perfectly clean tap water everywhere, anywhere, low crime rates, good social and government support.

  • everyone wants to legalize pot even republicans

  • @MTVVH1sucks they dont want to legalize pot because the police and correction workers and probation departments and drug n alcohol clinics ALL benefit financially from it being illegal. Tens of thousands of people are forced into the criminal system and it generate tons of money. I know i worked in the system of Drug addiction counseling. it's big business!!! i think it shud b legalized but it wont happen just yet. i wish though.

  • @Pisces31660 Drug and alcohol clinics would still run. The police can still generate revenue from actual crimes. How about they start convicting abusive clients to prostitutes, or catch gang members, rapists or child molesters? One in three women get sexually assaulted and not enough of those perpetrators get arrested or convicted. Weed being legal could be taxed to generate more revenue. It would be safer for people to go to clinics so more people go.Police need to find the real criminals.

  • @Pisces31660 I agree

  • everyone wants to legalize pot...even republicans

  • Maher is delusional @ the 2 minute mark.

  • @michealati2 ugh . enough.

  • We are definitely laughing.

  • We need to tax religious organizations and legalize marijuana. That will solve our deficit.

  • It seems to me that ending prohibition is part of the conservative ideology it's just a shame that republicans are no longer conservative.

  • How do we get our voice back? Maher, Stewart, Colbert have shows that show that the people want a voice but are denied it. So how do we take it back?

  • @tonnic420

    Occupy Wallstreet!.

  • @michealati2

The tea party has been corrupted over the years. Ron Paul originally founded the tea party as a libertarian front. Now the neo-conservatives have taken it over to make it look ridiculous. If you can't beat them, BEAT THEM!

    Libertarians, unite!

  • @michealati2 ... or, the American Liberty League.

  • @gorgorybmus that would be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY to nice for them....

  • @hobbytranslator oh, you saw it on "dozens of shows", well case closed then. let me recommend that you read something, let the braindead zombies be programmed from their tv 'programs'.

  • @hobbytranslator actually, i challenge your facts. "there are no plants left". i have to say this is false just looking out my window. where did you get your facts that there are no plants left? this is a serious question, cause i think you just heard that somewhere and now you're repeating it.

  • @hobbytranslator ohh, im sorry, i guess your politicians over there dont argue with each other in front of public (debate), left and right represents two sides, the fact you may call something different means nothing. what facts of mine do i need to get straight? you didn't mention. do you live in a democracy? not that united states is one. is everyone equal in your country? not that they are in u.s., do you have a royal family? if so, how is everyone equal? how is it a democracy?

  • @hobbytranslator bush was bad cop, obama is good cop. left wing and right wing belong to same eagle. they are reading from a script while you think they are fighting/arguing. people are hypnotized by a good fight, i mean some even think wrestling is real. the only laws that are 100% are the laws of nature. like "survival of the fittest" as an example. remember that when you here some rich guy on tv, telling how your going to have to "get with the program" and "give up a little".

  • @hobbytranslator i agree on "getting off" oil, im just against any kind of tax levied on the the people. even if part of the tax is used for what its suppose to be, most of the money will go to people who dont need it.

  • First of all Fareed..his name is PRESIDENT Obama. Show some fucking respect.

And I couldn't agree more with Mr. Maher. It WAS the Public Option that got the Democrats off the tracks. Caving in when the GOP held the nation hostage to protect the richest 1% who control 40% was number 2. Let's hope this round of deficit talks isn't a repeat performance.

And one thing Bill always uses as a jumping off point that is brilliant. The American people, for the most part, are really dumb.

  • bill never backs down from his principled stance. a stance based in fact and logic. gee, what's he doing on t.v. in america?

  • @urbanagain What a clever pun. Unfortunately, clever puns do not indicate what's actually true.

  • @michealati2 You have to give Bill credit tho---unlike most democrats,he's not a pussy! He says what he thinks and defends his postiion---he doesnt always cave into the other side like the dems do to the republicans.

  • Calling Bill or anyone lke him" Politically Incorrect" to me is an oxymoron---Bill has a lot more facts on his side than the people who are supposedly"Politically correct".

  • @mrbrianmccarthy That's not what oxymoron means.

  • It seems to me that Americans bitch about who ever is in charge.

  • @Bayzz2

By "Americans" did you mean, "Humans"? I'm fairly sure America is not the only country in the world where people complain about their government.

  • laughing in Canada....

  • "again, these are those inconvenient things called facts" - Maher

  • As an independent, I am more at liberty to look at a candidate for what they stand for and not some letter behind their name. The entire party system should be dropped and everyone would be forced to vote for the one who aligns with their ideals of what's best for America and not based on who they're aligned with. That's pathetic.

  • A political climate in which only 2 parties prevail is a joke. An electoral system which makes this not only possible but the norm, is broken.

  • Bill Maher, if I had any respect for you whatsoever, I would assume that you are just trolling. But no, I think you're just an idiot that gets off on acting like a smarmy douchebag.

You are stupid. You are the same idiot that belittled Ron Paul. You are an entertainer...and not a very good one. You know nothing about things that really matter. Shut up, or keep talking on 'mainstream' media outlets that nobody that matters really listens to anymore. I don't care which.

  • @bull068 Wow really hit a nerve didn't he dumbass.Hey shouldn't you be watching fox news?Don't you gotta get your daily dose of lies?

  • @bull068 roa paul is etremely ideological and half the things he says are completely deranged.maher is the same, half the things he says are just stupi and he is often out of his depth with someone who actually has a clue about the ecnonmy or mdeicine, etc but he makes great points half the time.

  • @bull068

That was a really drawn-out way of calling someone stupid, while not actually providing any factual, relevant statement or response to anything he said.

"You are stupid!" is not an argument, stupid.

  • @Apathyist Paste the following links after the youtube url.

/watch?v=dIXsxA3zRY4 Failure to understand Libertarianism. Believes CO2 causes global warming.

/watch?v=t2axP1lWFhg Conspiracies dealing with the government are impossible, and can never happen......

/watch?v=-3F5duZvjvg "Ass kicking is called for." Yeah, it's not entirely cool to interrupt somebody's show like the audience members did. But if Bill has it so figured out, why not address it intellectually?

  • @bull068

So far we have that he disagrees with your perspective on global warming, he doesn't believe conspiracy theorists and he kicks people out when they shout over a live TV show?

Help me understand here, I'm not trying to see how any of the videos you linked equate to the man being "stupid"?

  • @Apathyist I don't think I can help you.

  • @bull068 He did. He was addressing idiots yelling out during his show. Displaying that the best they can hope for is getting kicked out, that thier issue will not be addressed, and that an ass wipping is a possible outcome, is an intelectual way to address the issue.

  • @monokhem Thanks for that. I don't think I could have expressed the stupidity any more clearly or honestly myself.

  • @bull068 I'm sure you have plenty of trouble in that area.

  • What is embarassing is to see the comments of right-wing ideologues who would rather try to character-assassinate the man via "party-loyalty", even in the face of the mostly factual statements he makes. Sort of like tea-baggers yelling for no higher taxes on Big Business, while claiming they represent middle-class America. How ridiculous.....

  • Someone should tell Maher about me. My campaign for President gets NO attention. Likely because my ideas make sense and are way less expensive than what we have now. Write me in in 2112, Dwight Schmuck. Put a REAL Schmuck in the White House. A Schmuck on YOUR/OUR side for a change. That would be me. Write me in. Please.

  • @michealati2

In what way is a libertarian a "KKK member"?

  • Poor Bill still thinks there is a significant difference between repuclicrats and demicans

  • He is a public intellectual, I find it hard to see him as a comedian all the time.

  • I agree with him regarding Independents. The Independents are fucking dumb asses who think they know how to "analyze", but fuck up thinks by electing the lunatic party to solve things that they messed up in the 1st place. Independents are dumb asses, Republicans are now lunatics, and democrats are fucking pussies.

  • he slams republicans, but there are none in power . there is a shedload of Corporatist theocrats , but republicans? nope....

  • We are laughing Bill... we are.

  • When I feel beat up after a day of American politics, financial news from hell, sub par thinking from our policy makers and now blatant bias toward dollar instead of honor at least I know I can hear some reason on our airwaves. Some glimmer of hope that were all not morons and some of us are thinking with our hearts and not with our wallets and racial biases. Thanks Bill. I really do believe we can change.

  • Americans are idiots, that is why it is so fucking hard to get shit done in this country.

  • Did he say sclorodic?

  • Fareed the Man....

  • "republicans are much better at sticking by what they believe" HAHAhAHAHAHHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHLOLOL

  • I don't know why Fareed doesn't get more air time he's one of my favorite analysts at CNN.

  • @TheBoneheader Fare and square? The U.S. instigated it right in the moment of my country's maximum moment of weakness... Why would I go whine to Madrid if my ancestors kicked the Spanish out way before the U.S. invaded? If my ancestral country sucks, then yours (the one I was born to and grew up in) is as arrogant and short sighted as Rome. Oh, and it was Americans who snuck into Texas illegally and then tried to claim it as their own, and who entered the continent illigaly too since the 1600s.

  • @TheBoneheader hahaha... that maybe true too. But it would be nice if there were less lawyers and more scholars / intellects running the country.

  • "They love truth, they just hate facts."

    Bill Maher is the man!

  • "They love truth, they just hate facts."

    Bill Maher is the man!

  • DO YOU KNOW WHY THERE ARE SO FEW HONEST POLITICIANS???

    Because...

    1. Most politicians are lawyers (or trained in law) ... and

    2. There are NO honest lawyers

Formal education in law is the gateway to becoming a lying prick. It teaches people how to manipulate and bend the rules for their own benefit. In the court, it is not what's right, but what you can convince the jury is right.

    RON PAUL 2012

    Physician, economic scholar, HONEST representative.

  • @MatthewRider1 is ron running in 2012?

  • @astro15 He said no after 2008 election, but it seems he may change his mind if he gains enough support. At the very least, he will once again make the other politicians look like idiots they are at the debates.

  • lol, they had to explain who Suge Knight is on the bottom of the screen.

  • Well, perhaps given more time...

  • Yes, we are laughing. To hide the sheer panic in our eyes. This would be so fucking hilarious if the US had the global influence of Tuvalu...

  • WE LOVE U BILL

  • Independents always include a large number of anti-incumbants.

  • "They must be laughing at us"

    a big LOL from Brazil

Please US, get rid of the Conservatives, they're begining to influence other countries :/

  • The only thing I don't like about Bill Maher is his stance on vaccines. Other than that I agree with him on pretty much everything!

  • Makes So much sense!!! Thanks Bill.

  • Meh.. it's pretty simple really; pray for good health, or pay for good health..

If you pay, would you rather have an option that is closely regulated and has the same price for everyone, or an option that is completely unregulated and employs special prices for the fortunate and snake-oil salesmanship to drive in the droves in the competition?

If you pray for good health ; do you feel any healthier after praying? do you feel safe from harm?

  • Bill Maher is a hard leaning democrat who finds the philosophy of libertarianism interesting.

  • Comment removed

  • Fareed seems really nice.

  • Terrific conversation, perfect title, thanks for posting. Bill is spot on about religion and the Republicans: the GOP is indeed living in an Americentric fantasy world bankrolled by debt, but they're masters at manipulating the electorate.

  • yeah i hate republicans but they really have balls

  • we are laghfing

  • I think people like Bachmann and O'Donnell truly are crazy, and people like Palin and Limbaugh are in it for the money.

  • Bill Maher is right, we ARE laughing in Europe when we hear stuff like that. But then, Hitler was also the laughing-stock of Europe until they realised he's dangerous. I feel the same way about the Tea Party; their ideas are dangerous, not just for the US but for the whole world. For example the US produces 22% of the world's CO2, uses 30% of the world's natural resources while it has the 4,5% of the world's population - the US decisions affect my life on the other side of the Atlantic.

  • @sunlioness1 you shouldn't take anything you hear on CNN seriously. look up charles jaco. did you know co2 is plant food, and you exhale it out of your mouth. then the plants change that co2 back to oxygen. knowledge of natures patterns gives one great advantage over the "commoners". like when the witch doctor told his people 'do as i say, or ill make the sun disappear'. if you look at a graph of temperatures past and present, we are suppose to these changes.

  • @sunlioness1

    QQ MOAR

  • @sunlioness1 Ya.... I am sure you Greeks are laughing at America right now....

  • @Mrparrot73 Your point being what? That us lazy Greeks got ourselves into debt cause we didn't want to work while the US is so financially perfect? Are you even aware of the US debt? It's probably the biggest in the world, only nobody has the guts to start asking for their money. And google "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man", "Debtocracy" and "The Shock Doctrine" if you want to know (which I doubt) the real reason for the Greek meltdown and the US's part in it.

  • @sunlioness1 hes just an idiot... dont take note of him.

  • i usually aim towards the right, but im all for the legalization on Mary j. If theirs one thing that everyone should realize right now, its that prohibition never works.

  • When are US citizens start to listen to this guy?

  • Zakaria aka Uncle Tom is a lapdog of the state. Two opposite personalities.

  • One thing I disagree with Bill Maher on is that he thinks Americans are stupid (I'm Canadian, by the way).

They aren't stupid, they're just being lied to every single day by multiple people. Even some of the smartest people can be led into really stupid situations if they're lied to enough.

  • Well, yes and no. Every country has its fair share of idiots of course. The difference seems to be however, that in America the opinion of the hordes of stupid people seems to carry so much more weight than in other western countries. Part of that is, as you say, due to the fact that there's some very shrewd people who are extremely competent in mobilizing stupidity for their own purposes.

  • Say what you want about Maher but he comes across as intellectually, articulate speaker and theres one thing i do like that he does with his view points, he points toward a fact, such as the UN ranking america in the pit with health care, a point where conservatives and the right tend to lose is that alot of times I don't see them using facts to back up their arguments, they use what they think is going to make a good sound bite, which is great for an election, not for running a country

  • He might be elitist but he tells the truth. It's sad. But very fan

  • Hey Romney & Palin...I have a new BOOK title for you: ' WE APOLOGIZE'

  • As a atheist myself i love Maher, but in economics hes very misguided, he should go to europe and try to make a living from scratch, instead of going for vacation spending the millions of dollars he earns in america, maybe that´ll change his opinion

  • @Brolito23

I think you misheard him. All he said was that Europe has many positive aspects, as does America, and that he thinks Americans should be more open to adopting some of those positive features. He never stated he'd like to model the US' economy after Europe.

  • We are laughing at America in Sweden too..

  • I normally like and very much respect Fareed, but he's coming off as a bit of a hack here pushing this beltway meme that the American public is center-right when if you go down the list of issues (healthcare, financial reform, taxes, DADT, etc.) the public almost consistently votes for the left position. Come on Fareed, you're better than that!

  • 2 parties 1 policy! he hit it right on the head there, simple and straightforward everything thats wrong with the US gov!

  • acidjack73 i agree with u the problem in america is that we want to have our cake and eat it to but the things is u cant and now no one wants to help pay the bill what has happened is that the top 2% got tax cuts out the wazoo and then the buck got passed on the the rest of us ..plus the bill we are paying for is like 60 year of interest and principle but the thing is we voted for the people who made these policies that give the top 2% the elites so much leway thus so much power and money

  • yokels see Maher might be insulting but he is honest

these tea baggers are uneducated yokels and they are so embarrassing

  • um taxes pay for roads and schools and other fun things...AKA TAXES ARE GOOD duh!!!

  • @chaosbrat

Unless 1/3 of all taxes are going to pay for two useless wars in the Middle East, while spending for public schools, libraries, assistance programs for the poor, etc. is being cut drastically. And don't forget the WallStreet bailout - our taxes being used to line the pockets of rich criminals. Taxes are only as good or bad as what they are being used to fund.

  • because of a very successful campaign in America after WWII to demonize "Socialism" or anything that seems like it the American people fear and hate any thing that seems like that not realizing that some of those ideas could actually help you...what America practices is ignorance in its true form we r afraid of change of any sort

  • Indeed the rest of the world is laughing at the US, and it is nervous laughter.

  • Bill's the man!! Correct as usual.

  • Maher is a voice of reason in a country that is enamored, at the current moment, in right wing lunacy. He is spot on when he says that we have two parties that are basically right wing - the only difference is that one party is far more right wing than the other. To paraphrase George Carlin we don't have a real choice, just the illusion of choice. And the power brokers in this country peddle that illusion to keep the masses distracted and pacified.

  • America is a sad old, decadent, racist and ignorant country

Obama is a puppet in the hands of big finance and corporations and he do not have "balls" to make any CHANGE.

the next try for change is Anthony Winner the best in Democrats

  • @raseclarbac First of all, the hypocrisy inherent in your post is ASTOUNDING! Also, his name isn't "Anthony Winner"

  • "These People Love Truth, They Just Hate Facts" - Great quote!

    Fav'ed

  • Maher is so genius. (is his mouth getting cuter with age? fascinating) So nice to see him doing more shows than just his once-a-week, his voice is needed in the battle for reason in this country.

  • As a Persian/Iranian American,I demand an APOLOGY for this country's meddling with MY country's affair beck in 50's so they could STEAL Iran's OIL( for BP's sake)& as a result, they ruined our democracy, our country and brought us the disaster the Mullahs and ruined middle east along.MANY died due to that unwanted revolution, many were jailed, many were displaced all over the globe( including my family)& many are suffering today in Iran and in the mid east. So when is America going to apologize?

  • @shawanellachick Sadly, most of them... and the people in my country, just don't know about that stuff.

  • @Samuria11 I know they don't. They don't even know Christmas is an ancient Persian holiday (Mithras/Yalda) they have also taken from Pagans& Persian Zoroastrians. There is so much these people are clueless abt is not even funny. I lived in Europe for many yrs, although they are cold and not so friendly people, they KNOW FACTS, they all know abt these stuff, they just may or may not like u. I have come to miss that and respect that.KNOW your stuff, how can you not, you are at WAR with that region.

  • @Samuria11ever since I am living here, they are becoming more and more radical and religious and bigot. Looks like Bin Laden has already won, he wanted Americans to become more radical and they sure have. Without ever asking, why middle easterners don't trust us? Why are we told they hate our blond hair or our amazing democracy and our Jesus? I mean how much more naive can they get? Jesus is worshiped as a prophet there and middle east WAS more democratic before they WENT there to fuel SUVs.

  • @shawanellachick When are we going to Apologize for killing millions of Natives? When is the US going to apologize for brainwashing it's own citizens since the 1950's? Let me tell you, this government is trying to destroy EVERYTHING in the WORLD - so please don't ask for any apology - it's NOT coming any time soon.

The US is an extension of the German Nazi party - which gave Iran it's modern name (it should be Persia).

We are all in the same boat here, buddy.

  • @VitalemRecordsI know, you think I am so naive thinking US is ever going to apologize! I have offended MANY when they ever dared criticizing my nation& my people by saying that sure it has lots of problems, but I am proud my country NEVER had to be built on graves of indigenous people,&man,u have to see the responses I get re that one.Americans will never live in peace until they reflect on reality and admit to all they have done. There is one thing to be evil, another to be one assuming you R holy

  • @shawanellachick In this world where information is traded freely; NO MAN can be proud of his country. This world is FUCKED. The US government and ISRAEL are leading the fight against the human population. IRAN is doing their share of the murdering. AFRICAN WARLORDS are doing their share of murdering. MEXICAN DRUGLORDS are doing their share. THE CHINESE are doing their share of murder. THIS WORLD IS FUCKED.

  • @VitalemRecords That's why I am glad I studied science not to ever overestimate humans as what they are first and formost, animals with biggers brain cortex. ALMOST ALL of humans conflicts can be blamed at inequality of resources and power. ALL of them. Religions and cults are always used as tools to recruit the passionate morons and the patriots high on testosterone. And the average-low IQ of EVERY nation is well...AVERAGE and low and the BULK of every nation & they R running our world.

  • @shawanellachick, You ain't alone, dude... This country has yet to apologize for invading my country and stealing half of it, and also, massacring my genetically-related brethren... I love my country, but I demand it stands up to what it believes instead of staying as Sarah Palin's baby kid... I'm with you on the whole apology...

  • NOAH wouldn't lie to us

  • Gzood vid.

  • Yes! Maher time!

  • Yes Bill, we are laughing at americans here in São Paulo (Brazil) too.

  • We are laughing at you. Bill Mahher its absolutely right! ;)

  • “If they (tea baggers) are so concerned about the defect where were they when the defect was going up mostly under Bush?” Amen Bill!

  • I love Bill Maher, and I totally agree with him. I am so upset with Obama since he is about to cave on the tax cuts. We, progressives, need leaders who will stand up for the best interest of the middle class.

  • America has too few political parties

  • honestly 44% should be enough to legalize it.

  • @lildread1 that means that 44% polled wouldn't mind it. a smaller percentage only cares enough to vocalize or vote on it.

  • I appreciate Bill as being the mouth of the left. I might not agree with all of his views, or at least the way he calls it, but he sure does act as an effective counterbalance to the right wing pundits.

  • I really don't care much for Zakaria. For someone with such a reputation for intellectual rigor, he sure perpetuates a lot of banalities that the facts do not back up. Case in point here being marijuana legalization.

  • I just love this man Bill Maher, he really needs to run for political office. I love how he's not afraid to call a Teabagger exactly what they are a bunch of Teabaggers.
