I originally come from Croydon, and Leatherhead seems like a nice Surrey town to me, but my main goal in life is to buy a house in Dorking!

Used to live in Leatherdead for seven years and saw the Head at the LFC last year, I now live in Mission Texas USA and I can reliably inform you all that there is even less to do here than in little ol' Leatherhead.

@cachinnatio - I moved from Leatherhead back in 1999 and it was the best hing I ever did. When I go back there now it seems even worse with everything gone and rebuilt. I envy you now!!!

Pitstop has got people off the streets and into a decent life, the chavs are despised by the majority of the good law-abiding Leather Heads - there's a good deal going for it - for a start, lots of really nice houses, great transport links, easy access to some of the nicest countryside in England, loads of history... oh, and I see cops about all the time.
