There is no doubt of this. She had such an incredible run on AI that it was a crime for her to not take it. I figure some of the results are rigged and by the time the show's end draws near, it's predetermined who they want to push and they make it happen. @bandboy1232 maybe, they did use it in season 9 because the contestants have to learn over 10 songs in a week, 3 performances and songs for the finale. And I liked Megan Joy better, but this is still better than Taylor.

her singing was fine, but i think american idols 2-minute-songs-rule and the guitarist ruined this song. The guitar needs to "funkier" and harder. the song just gets to pop and to sweet. this song should be more like rock n' roll, KT.

There is no doubt of this. She had such an incredible run on AI that it was a crime for her to not take it. I figure some of the results are rigged and by the time the show's end draws near, it's predetermined who they want to push and they make it happen. They barely promoted her after the show and she's clearly the most natural performer of her season (like clarkson was) and should reach the widest market. ...instead it's Hicks. give me a break.

@msjosephine2 She's had 2 albums that have had moderate success. She's also done a few film/tv projects here and there but her most prominent one is probably coming next fall in NBC's primetime musical "Smash".

ouch, this wasn't very good :/ they just completely removed all of the groove in the song and made it into a country soul song! this is like playing mozart on a glockenspiel, doesn't really have any potential from the start :p
