  • good video

  • i think thats close to aarhus im not sure im fishing in denmark in ribe

  • @97benjamin97 This is not near Aarhus. It's around 30 minute drive south from Copenhagen.

  • @fishingwithrod could you not try to come to my town once we have lot of pike and sea trout and big salmon here

  • i caught a northern that big with 4lb. test with a crawler.

  • Thump of for Denmark ! :D

  • i love fishing for northerns...

  • Nice, quiet spot and quality video!

  • Thanks!

  • I once had a fish that size on a spoon but it wouldn't stick. Would you be able to tell me what I could have done wrong? It happened twice in a row. Had the fish on, but couldn't get it to stay on the hook.

  • @megamunchit2008 That's fishing sometimes. You win some, you lose some. Sometimes you lose one, two in a row, three in a row, or all of them in one day.

  • Nice fish!

  • Thanks!

  • I had a great day the other day. A 4 and a half lb bass for a highlitght but a huge pike broke off my 8lb leader. he was probably about a 13 pounder my uncle said.

  • Sweet. 13lb pike would make this one in the video look like a minnow. :)

  • @andrewh4 who uses an 8lb leader in a river / lake? wouldnt that be a little over doing it?

  • @DontClickOurURL It depends on the target species and situation. Sometimes lighter is better, sometimes heavier is better.

  • @fishingwithrod good point. my dad and i troll alot for northern/walleye up in northern wisconsin and we use 30lb leaders for that. but off a river or bank i guess it depends

  • @DontClickOurURL when i fish for northerns i use 40 lb. braided line, with a 10 inch 30 lb. leader with 2 treble hooks and a large smelt

  • thats a nice pike! i caught one same size about that, this summer. it was a good feelin! :P

  • Great video. Nice setting. Keep the vids coming.

  • the background sounds are awesome... and oh yeah cool vid man.

  • Spring time in Denmark, noisy birds. I'm waiting to see more fishing videos from Japan Nigel. ;)

  • @fishingwithrod hey where's this place?? looks very nice! is ir privately owned (meaning: do u have to pay?) or free?

  • @maeishoj Go to the website dagkort . dk and select "6", go to Koge Sportsfiskerforening and download the PDF for Tryggevælde Å (this is also where you buy your day licence for this place). The river is indeed private and certain sections is run by the fishing club that sells day licences for fishing.

  • Dude, was that in some dudes backyard??? I wish i had a river in my backyard i would be out there all the time

  • Yep, that's someone's backyard on the other side of the river. :) On our side, we were fishing on ranch land that requires us to purchase a day pass to access it.

  • nice pike!
