I was there is the audience for this session but real recording of this was on Jan3rd. they often played the same clips for weeks afterwards. Stevie wonder played live at the this session when I walked in he was playing at the piano just for the hell of it. Never realised it was him til someone came up and led him away so that the recording could begin.

He actually played about 3 songs he loved to perform even though only 1 song would get played. he did superstition and mary superwoman?.

One of my favorite songs of all time. SW has intruiged and perplexed me for 40 years. 1st off, he's a genius, no question, but can churn out the most inane songs or be content with happy-clappy performances of his true classics that (in this case) were (rightfully) powerful and angry polemics. Stevie is known to be a giving person, who "sees" the world differently than we do, which is part of his creativity.
