Rewatching from 3:30 to 4:07 over and over again for the past 6 hours trying to figure out the solo on guitar, because you're a determined bastard, I'm so close to getting it perfect, I just cant figure out the sweep part at 3:40 and also I have the pentatonic run thing at 3:52, But I think I may be a few notes from perfect! I'll perfect this solo eventually!

@Mard994 Actually not... Since the Chorus is in B minor and he stroke the string (B low string) loose, he's simply re-stringed his guitar in a 7-string setup, skipping the E high string...

To me it sounds like they use both minor B, B minor blues/pentatonic and sometimes B harmonic minor. I mean, they use all the scales that makes their music melodic as well as groovy and metal. Try and apply.

It's not just one. Sound like a lot of just natural minor (Aeolian) which is pretty common for melodeath.
