Picaresque19, you should know that I've been watching videos on youtube since it began but it is THIS video in particular that made me decide to make an account. I honestly watch this video a few times a week because of how well you covered one of my favorite songs. I put a link to this on my Facebook page and everyone loved it asking who it was. Bottom line, great voice, great playing, great job and, great mustache. If you are ever inclined to cover Paul Simon again don't hesitate.

Ahhhh...a young boy, his guitar and the exuberance of youth. Trust me on this...if you sang this song like your REALLY believed and/or experienced this, you would rival Simon's version. What he was always able to do, was capture the true spirit of the street and its people in music. So what I'm saying is; you have the talent, take the next step forward in believability. Play in some clubs and even on the street...whatever it takes to connect with the people you sing about.

Clicking on this I'd an idea of what to expect. I know how much I love the original and other various live renditions of this tune. The slide guitar, the bassline, the funky rhythm and the emotion Pauls Simon throws into this lyric in every performance of this tune that I've seen or heard are what I love about it.

Pausing the video to further reinforce my expectations I had the following thoughts; hmm, capo on the 5th; he looks nervous; I wonder if he tuned that open?; ...dodgy moustache...

Hey,your voice sounds much like Ben Gibbard`s (did I write it right? =) I`m not saying that they sound exactly the same,but sometimes it shows...a little bit. Maybe make a cover of I`ll Follow You Into the Dark? It will be interesting to compare...
