The reason They Might've dropped the guarantee is because maybe they were running out of "Great Movies" to play or had a very little variety when they gone to recent movies?
Ahhhhh....golden memories of Encore from around this time! I remember these graphics, AND the music(especially that!) like it was exactly yesterday! By the way, when they mention the "New Encore", they mean after they revamped their channel(especially after they changed their logo that year), and branded themselves as something "new".
Oh man, this just takes me back. 1999, a time when I was nine years old and doing fourth/fifth grade in the comfort of my house, a time before Bush/Cheney, a time before a recession, a time when Encore showed movies just like American Movie Classics, but uncut. I miss this format of Encore. Thank you for posting this HulkieD, I never forgot these promos, especially the feature presentation music at 3:39.
No, I mean it genuinely. Sometimes I don't post aspects of the video in the description, even if I know it, because to me it's fun. I like it when someone picks up on, say, what movie just ended.
