ggtristangg Did you walk in from the strip at any time during your stay? People are complaining about it being hard to enter fromthe strip on foot. Just curious. I din't think so but please let me know what you think.
what they are doing is RUINING the look , feel , and old fashion class that brought us to vegas in the first place!! city center is ugly and out of place in vegas. there is NOTHING about city center that is for the average man/woman. HEY , STOP RUINING THE TOWN THAT WE LOVE SO MUCH!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! WE LIKE IT THE WAY IT WAS!!
@jshark7171 these guys dont care about looks, just about money ofcourse, making the strip look like a giant scrapyard. look at the NY skyline, those buildings fit well together. these architects are said to be the best but they didnt think about the surrounding which is fail
over $8B at this day and age is an insanity. They will never make their money back. Beautifull buildings and very luxurious but totally out of touch with reality and absolutly insane.
As a Las Vegas resident, I hope this thing works out and reignites the Vegas economy. I wanted to apply for a job, but figured I was too old(62). Good Luck!!
I told people, a few years ago this would happen. Especially with the homes. No way in hell these homes are worth over 200k anywhere. Too much crime, poor schools, poor health care, no diversity, etc. I only moved here in o1 to escape my ex and, party. Shortly beofre I was to move out of Nevada. I met my now wife but, we both will be moving out of here when my step-daughter graduates. Homes blew up only due to Californians buying homes here in cash.
What an awsome project!! Hopefully MORE will come to area in coming years!!! Im only 17 and I am dying to make a difference in this opportunistic place!!
Please dont remove my comment!! If you do, just tell me why.
this project will work and be profitable & they did not get bailed out by the emirates they partnered with them. Condo sales will probably not do as well as well as first thought but this is a defining moment in Vegas strip properties. Can't wait to see it finished
this will never be profitable it will be the worlds largest money pit! they had to get bailed out by the emirates and willstruggle to make it pay. the prices will be too high
It's not a combination of the best of anything, it's 5 huge grey ugly buildings in the middle of vegas.

this is a very interesting project. Although most projects have had to be stopped because of the economy. I hope all goes well with this project

When i was in Vegas, i was told by many cab drivers and hotel workers that there was alot of lives lost during the building of these hotels.
Are lives included in being profitable?
