I'm sure Bobby is a very helpful person in general, but this video typifies a can NOT do attitude.
My guess is anyone can learn how to do it properly -- it's not Rocket science. It's sad that I've wasted sooo much time trying to find a decent video on this.

Urethane should be used on the windshield. If anyone uses butyl, you are at risk if you're in a hard collision. Your windshield will stick with butyl, but when you crash, it is likely to pop off which compromises the integrity of the car if you're in a roll over crash. The windshield also helps with the use of airbags in a head on collision.
ok let me put my 2 cents in ..ive used sika ive used beta ive used there are different curing times for each brand sika is my favorite..it marrys to each other the best it doesnt string out in ooze have to heat it 180 degrees most of it and drys the fastest..it dries by humidity and moisture
How can correcting you for getting the company name of a product wrong be being a smart ass, and the more you comment the more you show yourself to be only interested what you are and not what others are.
Where did you get the lame idea that I work in a bank , I am a branch manager of one of the biggest Windscreen replacement companys in Australia and have been in the winscreen industry since 1985 , get you head out of your ass and give other people credit .
Seka Sika what ever man. I would bet my right arm I popped open more of those grey adhesive yellow tubes in one year then you could ever open in your life time. My business lives off the stuff and it comes in different colors and now different textures. Originally it was used in the boat building industry and the mason industry for use on expansion joints. When it dries it dries like strong rubber, a 3 inch hardened bead of "SIKA" will easily stretch to 7 inches before breaking.
On the contrary I do know what you do for a living...
Your a Branch Manager possibly of some bank or fast food chain but most likely a bank. Now the last time I checked there weren't many branch managers running around with tubes of "Sika" Flex in their hands LMAO...
You were the first to make the smart ass comment, I am merely replying to it... Treat others as you want to be treated yourself Mr. Branch Manager...

I like how when you weren't sure if it was butyl or whatever, you SAID you weren't sure,
. Some people would just throw out a word or name carelessly and misguide people.
I read butyl is bad cause it is not adhesive and doesn't harden., is only a sealer. Liked your vid..thanks

Having a professional installer is much less expensive than trying to do it yourself.
