Hi Guys, Wondered if you might be able to help...... I have a 711m crossflow in a MK1 Mexico with twin 48 dellortos. The engine was running sweet before the rebuild but not it has no guts. It ticks over lovely and the idle mix screws have been set back to how they were, but when we go to pull away it backfires a bit and has no power. Any ideas?

Funny...the carbs are half the size of the engine !
Must now be about half the power of the average car on the street..
